As an American citizen raised in Texas with strong spiritual ties to India, I will support whichever candidate I want, based on any criteria I want. There is no candidate or party I "should" support. "Shoulds" are oppressive, confining, and patronizing.

Many of the Hindu refugees who were forced out of Kashmir by Islamist terrorists have lived & flourished in the U.S. for 30 yrs. If the @NewYorker was acting in good faith, it could have easily interviewed our parents or our grandparents to verify the veracity of #TheKashmirFiles

I was wearing an Indian shawl last night (a Kashmiri shawl) and a man trying to be friendly said "nice Moroccan shawl". I said "Thank You! It's actually Indian." He doubled down and said "Morocco, India, they're similar and very close to each other". #geography #Mansplaining

Some Hindus in India who appear to be anti-Hindu pride themselves on being open-minded, empathetic, compassionate, etc. I see people like this in my practice all the time. They spend their lives being overly empathetic & self-abnegating, only to be left with depression & anxiety.

Are any Indian newspapers reporting on the horrific Islamist violence against Hindus in #Bangladesh ? If no Indian newspaper will cover the violence, how can we expect Western newspapers to? Western newspapers take their cue from Indian papers when it comes to reporting on Hindus.
