Dottie was diagnosed with Bithalamic Glioma in Sep2020 aged 4 she’s a fighter! Here is only part of her story to help raise awareness of brain tumours.
Sorry for long post alert, an update on Dottie
A lot of people have been asking how Dottie got on with her latest scan!! Unfortunately we got told it wasn’t a stable result on 29th April 💔 just no words, as parents we feel something hasn’t been right since February, 1/7
How our mornings going 💔
the effects of chemo yesterday,
the part people don’t get to see of our smiling baby girl ,
the reality of fighting the fight,
having to change pj bottoms few times,
the strength Dottie has every day ,
The I wish I could take it away,
Our 🙏🏻 were answered today after a very very long wait from the MRI results Dottie is STABLE the words we wanted to hear !This means the brain tumour is still the same, hasn’t grown in size & no more new tumours & her spine is clear.

So proud & feeling very emotional after a long day getting Dottie results from her MRI
STABLE 😍
Oncology don’t want to see Her for another 3mths & we have been told the Portcath can be taken out & removed under general. Local nurses tomorrow for port clean and GOSH again Wed.
STABLE no words can explain the feeling & emotions when you hear those amazing words, our appointment went well we showed Dottie where her tumour is & the break down of it as she really thought that it was gone after the chemotherapy 💔 we spoke to the oncologist regarding 1/2
Well she was an absolute Star yesterday. We are all so proud of her. 762 days of treatment now the checks and scans continue. She’s not cured but as happy as ever.
762 days since diagnosis Dottie is having her port removed which used to supply her chemo. She’s gone down to theatre like a trooper. The end of this chapter in the journey.
Massive day today. Dottie has her first school trip! She’s so excited. We are lucky that a family friend is going as a helper. Has she packed enough supplies?
£43,379 what an outstanding amount! It wouldn’t of been possible without

day. This should bring a smile to your faces on a Sunday morning.
The news we have waited 3 weeks for. The MRI showed Dottie is still stable with no signs of growth. Few more tests this week and we can prep for Christmas.

Dottie received a new shirt this morning just in time to act as a bribe to take her meds. She says
@QPR
will win 2-1 today
Proud parents. Even after all the school she has missed Dottie has had an outstanding parents evening. Still a few struggles to overcome though. Does she deserve a treat?
All ready for the dreaded GFR test today at GOSH up and out the door early. Dottie hates this test more than any other but she’s in for a big surprise later on this evening.
45 days until the 18 month chemo cycle is complete. We have mixed emotions because there is still such a long road ahead. She’s so looking forward to ringing the
@eotbuk
for the end of this cycle. Oh she also wants a trophy 😂
Progressing so well at school. As she had chemo Friday she missed out on the presentation but received it today. Managed most of the day after her blood test this morning.
Something I never thought would happen! After not attending school properly for 2yrs & being so far behind, with the help of our private home tutor & Dottie attending school she is now able to read on her own with a little bit of help, we are so proud. Grandma had a great time
After 18 months, it is the last round of double chemo
@GreatOrmondSt
still a few more single rounds at Basildon to go but we are ever closer to that line in the sand.

Stable 🙏 which is the word we wanted to hear 🙌🏽 she had a chest x Ray while we were at gosh due to having a cough for the last 3 weeks. Hoping to get results next few hours ……. Mummy is about to pack up the car and go on my long 5.5hr drive to wales so so nervous 😂
Just putting this back out there
@uncs37
is a professional in so many ways. Not only on the pitch but off it all so. He kick started our fundraising with this shirt. He puts the effort in to keep match fit and inspire the younger players and other players around the club.
Seeing as
@uncs37

@QPR
we thank him again for his kind gesture and sending through a shirt for Dottie. This video was spotted by
