Worth noting that Brisbane were awarded the 2032 Olympics with 11 years' notice. Sydney had 7 years. That is, Brisbane *still* has more time than Sydney did to sort this out. Your mileage may vary as to whether this is reason to be more optimistic or pessimistic.

The ad is well made but it’s a two minute category error. people didn’t vote for same sex marriage to make history, they did it because they thought gay people should be able to get married. The reasons people will vote no to the voice are not in the same universe as that ad.
