Many right-wingers act like Red America splitting off from the rest of the country will solve all our problems. Yet, this deep red town voted out a guy just for being in Identity Evropa years ago. Independent Red America may not be much better than what we have now.

Some really naive people think this is a good-willed project, when it's an obvious tactic to "open the question" on an issue that isn't open. Incrementalism uses the technique of "presenting both sides" of an issue that isn't even an open issue. You can find similar tactics
