Testnet is a "f*ck around and find out" sort of situation. It's like the real thing. But also not 100p real. This lets anyone and everyone try it out and make mistakes and let the Polygon team know what issues there are.

I think a big misconception that doesn’t help is that everyone thinks this is POLYGON’s AggLayer. It is not. Yes, Polygon Labs has a team contributing to the development of the AggLayer, but this is a collaboration amongst many:

If you're realizing that there aren't a lot of rules and restrictions to the AggLayer, good. That's intentional. Design of the AggLayer: Make it as minimal as possible. There should be very few requirements!!
