Freedom to choose for himself is something Makima tried to take away and ultimately something he almost gave up on, but Denji learned, got back up, & is still trying. Seeing these bits & pieces of growth/change from him has been my absolute favorite thing to see in part 2 so far

The cool difference between Chainsaw Man Part 1/2 is how they deal with their leads mental state. Denji was someone who didn't and struggled to understand the way he felt for the longest, whereas Mitaka knows exactly what her problems are and is always constantly hurting over it

Chainsaw Man episode 1 is Amazing!!! Somehow the team at MAPPA managed to create something that resembled more a film than a typical anime. I love it! You can see that through the direction, animation, & even the fights have this unique movement that's unequivocally Chainsaw Man

One of the most interesting things I've been noticing with Mitaka is how she responds to criticism or idea that people may not like her. She gets agitated, defensive, and pushes people farther away when these emotions overwhelm her.. isolating her in a very sad & steep loneliness

I really like that Fujimoto isn't just going the route of only bringing back old characters from part 1. While I love them and want to see more, like Angel and Reze, I like the route of bringing in new faces like this nail fiend(?) as well. Doing both keep things exciting & fresh

It's hard to see with the Falling Devil in the way, but I think this may be yet another version of Chainsaw Man different from the first initial imposter we saw. Their silhouette seems more that of a woman than the more brawny looking guy carrying Yuko. reminds me of Makima tbh

At first I thought this was Denji drinking his own blood, but then I saw that someone walked up to him and cut their hand to feed him. Makima did the same to make Chainsaw Man fight, which makes me believe it's Yoshida here since he's been playing her eerie role for part 2

As much as Fujimoto indicating it could be Mitaka by saying it'd take a "war to comprise this facility", I think there's only one person that can do that all on her own.. Reze. We've already seen her go to a Devil Hunter training facility and completely annihilate them with ease

If I had to describe chapter 103 of Chainsaw Man in one word, it would be eerie. Something about Denji, The page layouts, and his responses to Yoshida fell unnatural in a way. Almost as if there's something under the surface of it all

Kishibe is a badass, Denji & Power are the smartest anime characters of this generation, and Tatsuya Yoshihara is goated. That is all. Sucks there's only 2 episodes of #chainsawman left, but I'm excited at the prospect of a potential Bomb Devil arc movie moving forward..

This could actually be fire asf the more I think about it! A new CSM running about killing both people & Devil's could cause Mitaka to confuse Denji as the one who did it, creating tension that otherwise wouldn't have been there. Ultimately getting her on board with Yoru's plan

He wasn't even mad at Makima after what she did to him, Power, & Aki This bond between him and Nayuta must be super freaking strong... and I love it. Seeing Denji find someone he loves this much is one aspect I really wanted to see in pt 2... even if he whines about it sometimes

Absolutely in love the approach MAPPA is taking to adding original scenes to Chainsaw Man. Not only has it done wonders for building on tension & high octane action in the fights, but they're also going so far as to make Aki, Denji, and Power's home feel more lived in than before

Chainsaw Man #4 was by far the most complete episode of the anime thus far, 10/10. Seeing how well the crazy action blends together with the stories more empathetic, slow, and comedic moments makes for such a fulfilling and fun experience true to CSM.
