Responded to a fire in the 1300-block of E. Lancewood Pl. The fire, located in a bedroom, resulted in one elderly man being transported to the hospital with injuries. The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.

At 10:40 AM today, DBFR responded to a residential structure fire in the 1600 Block of S. Ocean Blvd. A rug caught fire, resulting in one adult male being transported to the hospital. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

At 9:45 PM Friday night, DBFR responded to a residential fire in the 1000 blk of SW 7th Ave. Heavy fire at the back caused extensive damage. A mother & 2 children have been displaced. No injuries. Fire is under investigation.

This evening, DBFR responded to a residential structure fire in the 2900-block of Lake Ida Road. The fire was contained to one room, but 12 people have been displaced. No injuries were reported.

At 5:49 p.m., DBFR responded to a residential structure fire in the 2900-block of Lake Ida Road. The fire was quickly contained and isolated to one room. There were no injuries. Twelve people have been displaced as a result of the blaze.

Delray Beach police are investigating a crash involving a pedestrian and a Bringthline train at Atlantic Avenue and Railroad Avenue, SE 1st. Avenue is currently closed. Please use an alternate route.
Delray Beach Fire Rescue crews are currently at the Solid Waste Authority facility near SW Fourth Ave. south of Linton Blvd., tackling a smoldering fire by the transfer station. All roads are clear. Happening inside the facility.

This afternoon, Delray Beach Fire Rescue has been on the scene of a broken natural gas line at 1910 S. Ocean Boulevard. The leak has been stopped. S. Ocean Blvd has reopened to traffic.
Today at 11:30 a.m., DBFR responded to a kitchen grease fire at 420 E. Atlantic Ave. DBFR transported four people to the hospital, three for minor burns. The 400-block of Atlantic Avenue was closed to vehicle traffic down for 45 minutes.

DBFR responded to a crash involving four vehicles on NB I-95, north of Atlantic Ave. One of the vehicles caught fire and several bystanders pulled the driver out the vehicle. DBFR transported the driver to the hospital as a trauma alert.
