Hero’s Up-Air in Smash Bros is based off an infamous kick that is considerably known in the Dragon Ball Community that is unofficially called the Toriyama Kick. You literally just shove your foot towards the sky while in midair. I’m not sure if it’s an actual move or not?

Local Dragon Quest Fan by the name of Ichiban Kasuga (Yakuza: Like a Dragon/Yakuza 7) went to prison somewhere in the year 2001. He eventually got out in the year 2019, which means he missed out on playing DQ8-DQ11 between those years.

While all the Dragon Quest heroes in Smash Ultimate was designed by Akira Toriyama, Solo can be considered as one playable character who is the CLOSEST in having a Dragon Ball character in the Smash Bros. series. Both he and Future Trunks share the same voice actor.

According to Sakurai during a DQ11S launch livestream in Japanese, Yggdrasil’s Alter was one of the more harder stages to make since everything in the stage was made from scratch. The Smash Team almost gave up and nearly decided on using Mount Huji as a stage instead.

In Smash Bros Ultimate, there is a strategy called “Top Decking” that Hero players use by spamming Down B and instantly chooses the first spell even if its good or bad. Top Decking originated in the TCG scene where a player instantly uses a card they just draw from their deck.

The Wayfarer’s clothes is a low level tunic armor that has been in multiple games in the series. This armor is commonly associated with Erdrick in DQ3 since they start off wearing this in all versions of DQ3 and they’re usually seen wearing this tunic in most media sources. (1/2)
