Now that I've moved to Southern Mexico I have chance to watch S. American football on a daily basis. And I've adopted Corinthians as my 2nd club. That 2015 team was something else!
@Leecosgrove10
It's worse when you inform the parents and kids at the start of the season that playing time is based on attendance, being coachable, and effort. And even worse when some parents believe their kid is better than everyone else ๐คจ
@ManagerTactical
That is a short term solution for the MLS. How about focusing on helping talented kids who don't have the means to pay $$ to play. So the US can deepen their talent pool. And also focus on better defense skills
@Scout7Calcio
I agree with all of your points but one.
Leao had an average game by his standards. Yes he created chances for his teammates but was sloppy with the ball a few times. In games like this he needs to takeover.
@thecasualultra
The Greek authorities were supposedly notified by Interpol weeks before and still were allowed to enter the country. These could have been prevented
To all you Milan fans that want to stop supporting this beloved team over this transfer market (which isnt over yet) you're more than welcome to start supporting Juve, Roma or Inter. We weren't favorites to win last season and we still did it.4 ever Milanista

@rajsinghchohan
Some of you EPL fans love hyping your teams and players up. And good for you. But when you start saying things like Saliba and Gabriel are the best CB pair ever. That's when you lose all credibility
@itsgabe20
Provide the whole picture next time
You're obviously cherry picking one game to promote your agenda, and that's fine however look at the larger picture
Selling a player like Tonali to line the owners pockets with more $$ sets a dangerous precedent. Might as well sell Theo, Mike, Leao, Kalulu and Thiaw if the price is right, and promote the Primavera players to fill their spots
@TheNassrZone
@FabrizioRomano
One great aging player isn't going to save the league. You need to focus on developing the younger generation of players and academies. And no amount of $$$ can create a football culture like in Europe
@pstionalplay
Yes they've been playing great on both ends of the pitch. But let's see them win it all before they're called the best team in Europe. Man City are defending champs
1/1
If you're a coaching youth sports and encouraging or teaching your players to play dirty (ex: throwing elbows and pushing from the back constantly) you need to take a good look in the mirror.
@Bonetti
I've been saying it for months now. If we're not going to sign a really talented RB. Then just let Kalulu, Terraciano and Calabria compete for that spot.
This is kind of coaching profile that I wish Milan would have gone after. Someone who emphasizes strong defensive principles (helps you wins trophies) and attractive football.
Man, just look at the upgrade Fiorentina got.
Iโm in awe.
Palladino brings strong defensive foundations with him, but also the ability to play fluid and expansive football while giving the players freedom and maximising on efficiency (touches on the ball + energy conservation)
Thus is the main reason why we became coaches in the 1st place. It's not about feeding our egos, or how many tournaments you win. It's about the kids and their development and love for the game.

@_LewisLFC
As a former coach, I can tell you it's easy for us fans to be armchair coaches and think we know better than qualified coaches. That's why I'm big on telling people to coach a youth team for a while and see how even at that level, it's not easy.
@Scott7news
You do realize that in most cases that kill bears, deers to control their population. And most hunters eat that meat and donate it in some cases.
@LAHM21_16
@MinJaeMajesty
Seems like the majority of accounts on X believe that Kim Min-Jae was at fault for that first goal by Vinicius. It's much more complex than that. If you're interested in what really went down, take a look at the analysis video that I put together.
Fonseca is another coach that likes to press high on the defensive phase. And they're a few issues with this pressing principle:
1)The high pace puts a wear and tear on the players. So, a high rate of injuries most likely will occur.
2) With the current players that Milan have..
All these cute new football terms being mostly used by tactical analysts and scouts such as ZOI are not widely used by coaches or staff that are actually part of academies and clubs. Speaking from experience. And can we stop calling every talented young player generational or.
I've said it on my podcast numerous times that we need some like Fofana who has grinta and that bite that we need. And also promote someone like Victor Eletu to learn under Fofana and add depth.

were to sell Ismael Bennacer, his replacement would have to be defensive-minded. The 2 most popular options right now: ๐

I'm all in for bringing Fofana to Milan. He has the mentality, skill sets, and teeth we need. However, I don't want to see Rabiot on my club. He's overrated and expensive.
Get me right back who can defend first. Flashy full backs are nice, but if you're average defensively, you shouldn't be starting for a club like Milan. We don't have time to develop another defender. And that's why I wanted someone like Kayode.

What a terrible comparison. First off, Adli played more of a defensive role for Milan. And anyone who knows football knows that Samardzic is way more technical and smooth on the ball than Adli. Stats alone only tell a small part of the story.
We had a chance to get Scalvini by using CDK in a trade but failed to do so. Didn't bother trying to sign Buongiorno or even tried to ask about Kayode. And now we're low balling on a promising talent.
I'm diving into these topics and more on today's pod!
AC Milan recently launched its "Club 1899 Front Row Experience."
The idea is modeled after what you would see at a Los Angeles Lakers or New York Knicks game, with AC Milanโs pitchside seats filled with VIP guests.

Playing with high line isn't the main problem. It's playing with a 2-2 rest defense and leaving our 2 cbs alone with two average defensively minded midfielders who are always out of position. Want to stop being countered so easily play with a 3-2 rest defense instead.

whether you're Pioli in or Pioli out. At the end of the day managers, most players and owners come and go. What's most important is that we always support the badge, the colors and the history of our club
#alwaysforzamilan
The fact that our club is rumored to be interested in every coach under the sun is bad look for us. This is telling everyone that we don't have a project in place or any idea what style of play or ambitions we have to get back to winning titles.
Look at how Leao is facing away. Petty and selfish as always, can't wait until he goes to PSG and Christian becomes the franchise player on Milan

Management has already lost my respect when they tried to censor Maldinis interview. And sure, they haven't been named publicly, but who else was behind it.
So my thoughts on this. When Otto Rehhagel took over Greece before the 04 Euros he got rid of players that caused issues, weren't willing to play different positions, and complained. And look at the results. So going forward..cont

That's our best option. It's not like management is going open their wallet and pay for Conte or another big name.
And besides, have you ever watched how well Porto us structured defensively?
3 league titles in 7 years in Portugal is embarrassing, don't wanna hear no one telling me it's a competitive league.
NO the hell not, and you are coaching Porto which is the strongest team.

If Milan wants to get back to their winning ways and compete domestically again. They need to focus on signing at least 2 CDMs with slightly different profiles, add a CB that can bring experience, and mentor the defenders and add a RB..
