Last year, government solicitors had my disclosures canceled, despite the Public Accounts Committee taking them “extremely seriously”. I fear this will become de rigueur treatment of whistleblowers should “in-house” solicitors be let loose on those trying to shine a light.

In January the Irish Mail on Sunday ran this story. On querying a €50 Million transaction at the Department of Health, I was told that there was “Arthur Daley Accounting” involved. I was also told by a senior civil servant that there were “dodgy dealings at a high level”.
