Been testing Mirrors Vairina all morning and omg this fixes the deck so much. I knew it was good but not this good. I always have a big hand, never worry about cb, and can consistently find all my pieces. I haven't tried a hybrid build yet so unsure how well that will work yet.

My initial thoughts on the new reveals for History Collection. A lot of options open up with the GB2 being active, 2 markers, and main phase on stride. This is all in context within their clan and not the overall meta. My grade 3 assumption is their original form as well.

One of the cool things about the history strides that hasn’t been talked about is that you are on the G-Bosses again. It actually gives so much more deck building freedom due to the stride bonuses. Victor can play less restanders now since all your strides restand something.

Vanguard content to me is in a very weird state atm. We don’t have hyper competitive content, but we don’t have a lot of casual content either. We are in a weird middle ground with some focus on competitive but doesn’t go too deep.

Finally read MBT's thread and I've definitely felt similar gripes with the state of things on the Vanguard side, but I've always found it fascinating how the Japanese side of most TCGs never lost this guide writing edge, mostly thanks to Note being a godsend of a site.

👏MATH👏TIME Since we are confirmed the Triple Drive Booster and got more info on it, here are the expected pull rates from a case! Better pull rates compared to History since there is a RRR in every pack. so 9/10 packs in a box will be 1 RRR and 2 RR. SIR might change that.

As a Nova Grappler main I've come to accept the OT. I cannot apologize when I pull it because it gets ripped so much. At this point it's an active win con of the deck. Take the win and leave. On the other hand you can't complain about the Opp OT's. Yours will win way more for you

One thing I miss before standard is budget boss units. In V there were a ton of R/C cards that could be used as your main VG. Standard hasn’t really had any full lines in that space yet. Every boss unit being RRR/TD does hurt. If a deck gets good then buyouts happen for the RRR.

Part of my burnout was this… hard to stay excited about reveals when it takes 3+ months to get it. Varga was a deck I was really hyped for but we still won’t get it for 2 months :/ New P-decks are cool but they release in July… Everytime we catch up we fall behind again😭

Spent my morning trying to implement @TopDeckHeroesVG advice! It has come out a lot better now! Getting the last transition down is hard cause of the sleeve on the OG card. I might have to single sleeve? My next step is to build an arsenal of animations and sound effects!

BCS Houston was great! The events themselves didn’t go well for me. OTs day 1 and playing a deck I haven’t played real matches with really showed. Met some awesome people and saw some old friends! Played NG for P and Rose for V. I don’t regret my picks but more so my prep.
