@OurShallowState
They also appear to not understand what the trial is about.
They want to just make it about sex and nothing about money laundering or suppression of information before an election, just lefties being mean
@RepClayHiggins
What tripe.
I am a retired school and public librarian. How dare you say defamatory and patently false things about my life's work.
If you want a Christian library, go for it, but to say that we are 'groomers' because we don't subscribe to YOUR religious viewpoint is outrageous.
@waltshaub
When I got that call and talked to an *actual* agent (at a call center in India no less) I confessed and told them I was ready to turn myself in. He hung up on me. I'm still waiting for the Feds to appear to take me away. 🙂
@MuellerSheWrote
Think of the millions he's tricked into believing that he is a brilliant, competent businessman and that he cares about them. This courtroom trick is nothing in comparison to that. :D
@michpoligal
@JoeBiden
Of course.
This is getting so ugly.
I am 75 years old and have never seen this country so fractured and fragile and angry and scared.
@rhonda_harbison
@LeaderMcConnell
@All100Senators
This is ridiculous. She withstood the most demeaning, unprofessional, unethical harassment of any candidate, including your boy Kavansugh, and she acquitted herself flawlessly. You never intended to support her.
@RabbiJill
Please look at what has happened in the last day or two re: mask orders and safety precautions in Georgia and Kentucky. Apparently the GOP is going to use the virus to suppress votes by killing people. I wish I were being paranoid but I don't think I am.
@MuellerSheWrote
Should the effort to keep him off the ballot in CO be successful, one could hope this would effect the down ballot contests as well. Looking at you, Lauren Boebert...
@natsechobbyist
They're not worried. The national attention span being what it is, all they have to do is huff and puff for a few days and then it will all be in the memory hole until the next thing happens.
@RabbiJill
The trees were American crabapples. Just a clarification.
And yes, it's like they have to trash *everything.* They have no sense of history or respect or any aesthetic sensibility at all. To borrow from Oscar Wilde: they know the price of everything and the value of nothing.
@GovParsonMO
Stick to weather updates. This is *not* a 'Christian nation' and religion is *not* either a qualifier nor a disqualifier for public office. You should read the Constitution.
@ChrisCuomo
I have never doubted that Hamas' actions that day were pure evil.
I have never doubted that Israel's actions since that day are also evil.
This is both/and, not either/or
@AliVelshi
Americans should also watch the massive presence of Israeli citizens in the streets and their willingness to shut down services and operations to be heard.
@Acyn
Interesting.
I was given hormone replacement after menopause 30 years or so ago. I suffered NO permanent effects and even during the course of treatment did not suffer most of what she's spouting.
@JoyceWhiteVance
I still can't wrap my head around the fact that the country I have lived in for nearly 80 years has turned into this.
It's the stuff of fiction and nightmares and should not be where we are living.
@EricBoehlert
Also, she is Vice President Harris, not Kamala. Has anyone else noticed how often female politicians and other famous women are referred to by first names vs how men are just about always referrd to by last names?
@IAmSophiaNelson
@JoyAnnReid
I am a white person and right now I feel like 'my country' is being taken away from me by other white people who are in utter thrall to an authoritarian movement that exploits perceived difference to gain power over *everyone*, even its own adherents.
@BettyBowers
@GavinNewsom
@realDonaldTrump
And if so, note that the Governor is man enough to do so without having his infantile feelings hurt, because he cares more about us than about himself.
@Yamiche
Simplistic and silly as this complaint seems, it is a the absolute truth about his empty core, which makes him the sociopath that he is. Mary Trump's book summed up in four lines
@RonFilipkowski
This is all I've seen, but it looks as if she never intended to anything but sandbag the interview. The furrowed brow and the lecturing, condescending tone are actually pretty comical. But she obviously spent a lot of time in the make-up chair beforehand.
@joelockhart
@DOIPressSec
@Interior
This is beginning to feel like the Last Days in Berlin, when they start arming little boys and old men and send them out into the field of battle.
@atrupar
There was *nothing* normal in that. He watched every tentative step like a child on a set of steel stairs. He is seriously impaired and it's now visible to the whole world.
@duty2warn
The good news and the bad news for me is that I refuse to join his platform so I have no idea what he's saying. Except that we always know what he's saying
@natsechobbyist
@ChristopherJM
When you have made sure that no one ever tells you no or pushes back on your worst ideas.... Open windows and polonium tea send powerful messages.
@AshleyRParker
@maureendowd
Please.
Maureen Dowd is one of the main reasons I unsubscribed to the NYT. Fortunately I was unable to read this piece but the quoted snippet is enough.
@RonFilipkowski
Actually, not only did both do a lot that was wrong, neither was kicked out of office.
One resigned, the other lost a free and fair election.
But, yeah, keep whining
