@DeanPreston All due respect Dean but, the evidence over the last couple years is to the contrary. I don’t want a “rubber stamp” but, it’s clear that the BOS has worked against the mayor. Many of us are very frustrated with how our city fails to act and now we need a change.

Just so we are clear: any relief package that doesn’t have the restaurant act, is throwing independently owned restaurants under the bus. PPP doesn’t work for us when we are forced to stay shut or can’t operate more than to go food. So tomorrow when Congress passes this bill...

@MattHaneySF Matt- rent is a tiny part. I think you’re aware of that. My partner and sister have passed on multiple deals that would include massive financial incentives because we don’t feel comfortable sending staff to work in that part of town. That should be the # 12345 priorities.

We can do more and feed more people with more help. As it stands we don’t really turn people away even if they weren’t able to get on the list. It doesn’t matter to me if someone was homeless last month or making 6 figures. If they need a meal they get one. We are here for you.

Disappointing. There *has* been community engagement including public BoS committee & Small Business Commission hearings. Small biz has been begging for this. No mention of biggest benefit: reducing the average permit wait time from 10 months to 30 days. We need more small biz!
