As someone that actually grew up in poverty, there’s a multitude of ways to break that cycle. A lot of them in the Labour manifesto. I want an end to the 2 child benefit cap, but it won’t end poverty overnight. A lot are being very disingenuous to attack the Lab gov tonight.

Our middle park in Whitehawk is finally reopening! The contractor Eibe Play put a faulty floor that had families (and me) covered in a black stain. They refused to pay a penny to fix it, but our petition brought them back to the table! By mid-August we will have our park back

Rental markets in Brighton are in a critical state. I've just left a flat with intense rising damp, that results in mould growing over clothes etc. We spent hours cleaning the flat as best we could only for the landlord to claim £1000 for cleaning Truly disgusting!

In all the happiness of yesterday, we had some amazing people who missed out by inches. @lundy_li @tomchatfield18 @benphilipsborn and Alice Kaley-Burton I campaigned with and others I didn’t all did amazingly well. I doubt it’s the last time I’ll be campaigning for them ❤️
