It’s time for @NJTRANSIT to stop cutting express train service on the Pascack Valley Line. We pay more for service than we receive. Overcrowded trains, no ac or operating bathrooms is unacceptable. #Rockland riders can not be treated like an unwanted step child anymore.

A federal judge once compared locking people with mental illness in solitary to putting an asthmatic in a place with little air to breathe. Mental health advocates are fighting to end this torture. A majority of NY lawmakers are on board but they must act!

A mother contacted my office seeking help to expedite her daughters’ naturalization ceremony due to their father suffering from terminal cancer. I wrote to USCIS and today they came to the family’s #NewCity home to help. Congrats to Jade and Skylar on becoming US citizens!
