@piersmorgan Nurses have job security, pensions etc. No furlough in the public sector - the private sector has been hammered. We're all grateful to nurses - of course we are, but just as grateful to lorry drivers, shop workers, drivers etc. Most people don't have the luxury of pay rises.

@AngelaRayner A statesperson like response, as deputy leader of the labour party, to the chancellor announcing $50m of new funding for Ukraine through the EBRD at the G7. @Keir_Starmer is this labour policy to "do one" at Ukraine funding?

@PaulBrandITV Wow - what a misleading tweet, but unsurprising from you. The BYOB event was around 30 people. The invite went to a distribution list, but many weren't in the office. The PM wasn't invited, but saw people in the garden and went to thank them for their efforts, and long hours.

@Digbylj Yet again, Boris quietly getting on with the job at hand. Now he's confirmed no extension, EU taking notice. Ban on protests is genius on many levels. He said we'd have CV under control in 12 weeks. Now this - he's working through manifesto promises in unprecedented times. Superb

@Keir_Starmer @SadiqKhan You can't genuinely be serious? TFL bankrupt, mayoral tax massively increased, crime rocketing, and a smug, contemptible mayor dismissing any questions against him in the committees.

@piersmorgan @GMB One things is obvious - your haranguing of your guests, butting in, not letting them answer makes your guests, and your viewers deeply uneasy. Her reaction isn't laughter of the stats, it's a nervous / natural reaction to your interruption. Dr Jones is the shining light of GMB.

@RhonddaBryant Pincher - the "allegation" that mysteriously vanished without trace or investigation as soon as the PM was ousted? The biggest problem with Boris, for labour, is that he'll beat you!

@trevor8sinclair I'm only replying here because you switched off replies. You apologised for the timing of your tweet, but not the content, yet YOU are the one with the racism conviction? An utter disgrace, and I hope you never work in sports broadcasting again.

The civil service is not fit for purpose. It undermines the govt at every opportunity, claims bullying when being asked to it's job, and was the main culprit in Downing St "parties". Time for a clear out - it needs to be run like any private sector company, on performance.

We donโ€™t know where 17,000 rejected asylum seekers are, says Home Office deputy ๐Ÿคก "Simon Ridley, a senior civil servant, told MPs he did not know the whereabouts of most of the 17,316 asylum applicants whose cases have been withdrawn in the past year." Ridley: "In most cases,

@MitchBenn It was Sir Keir and labour who made any gathering a resigning matter, an issue of "criminality" and chose to politicise people who lost their lives. They are now reaping what they have sown. How is it only mudslinging when it's aimed at labour?

@helen_spirit1 This has been my point ever since the start of covid - you can't hold one man responsible for every decision that was made. He, and his department worked long days and nights trying to manage an unprecedented situation. That so many hold any one individual responsible is awful.

@thecarolemalone They've been immense Carole, responding magnificently to an unprecedented, ever evolving crisis. Anyone who thought Boris couldn't be statesman like, or that he had the wrong people around him couldn't be more wrong. Fantastic job by or PM, and government.

@Scarborough_GB Absolute nonsense. She was already arrested and serving a sentence before Boris Johnson said anything, and this was always about the money. Further, this was a debt going back to the 70's - why didn't labour sort it out when they were in power? Sanctions were placed 2002.

@Kevin_Maguire Some issues, like the deficit labour left, will take a generation to repair. PFI debt, pensions, gold. There are things that it's perfectly reasonable to blame labour for, and the creation of golden visas, welcoming the Abramovich's of the world to London was under a labour watch

@MichelleDewbs @BorisJohnson The difference is that there's no suggestion Boris was there, or even aware, but likes of Barry Gardiner, Stephen Kinnock, Tahir Ali, Ian Blackford and Keir Starmer himself were all actually photographed breaking the rules. Perhaps they are the details that need to go to police?

@LukePollard Since when was the Govt in charge of BBC programming? Here's an idea - pay Gary Lineker a bit less, stop sending dozens of presenters / staff to Glastonbury every year on a massive jolly and look at the organisation itself. The BBC were happy with it's last settlement.
