At 68 I still work full-time. I crochet in my spare time. I crocheted a blanket for a friend's son who turned 21. I had over 900 hours in, and $120.00 of yarn. I also gave him $121.00. My friend gave me back the blanket. She said her son only likes "designer" gifts, I am hurt. 😥

Ted Cruz had the time to tweet 73 times, got paid for 3 speaking engagements, was on cable news 11 times and held a fundraiser. What he didn't do this weekend attend one funeral for the 21 people who were murdered in Uvalde. He didn't do anything to help the mass power outages.

I have watched Guy Fieri for many years. I loved Dinner's Drive In's and Dives. My granny Ruby always said "you are known by the company you keep." I now know who Guy Fieri is by the company he keeps. I will no longer watch any of his shows on The Food Network.

Incoming House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan hasn't authored, sponsored or passed one piece of legislation in 17 years. He didn't respond to a congregation subpoena. He has been recommended for a formal ethics inquiry. He will be called by Jack Smith. Jim Jordan is a criminal.

I am overwhelmed with the kind words, love and support. The blanket is black and vapor gray made with a velvet yarn. It is 50X70  extra long and very warm. I decided to donate it to a disabled veteran who doesn't get any visitors. I feel good about it. Not the best picture.

A person I work with received a call today from his wife. Her 40 year old unvaccinated sister diagnosed with Covid Thursday. Her boyfriend found her this morning dead. She lived in Texas and her pastor told her she couldn't get Covid because she is "saved". Disinformation kills.

My 47 year old brother was found unresponsive this morning. He suffered 33 years from addiction and his demons. He died of cardiac arrest on the way to the hospital. We haven't spoken in years, our lives are very different. I loved him I hope he is at peace.
