I remember people saying that kids like me don’t become doctors. Today, a young girl on the floor, with a similar background as me, expressed her desire to be a neurosurgeon one day. You can bet I printed out all the resources I could to help her learn how to get there.

One of my biggest takeaways from my MGH subi is that you don’t just get to be a neurosurgeon, you become one. Every day the incredible faculty + residents embodied this sentiment of always becoming better and leading the field into the future. @BrianNahed @jvcoumans @BobCarterMD
