LDA is very sad to announce the passing of our much valued friend & colleague Mr J. Downie. Mr Downie was a true gentleman & an exemplary role model for our pupils. He had an immense impact on our school community. We pass on our condolences to his family. He will be missed.

Similar to many other Knowsley schools, LDA was delighted to be able to support the magnificent efforts of our NHS last week by sending through 132 pairs of protective goggles from our science labs to help their staff on the front-line.

We officially said goodbye to our Yr11 pupils today at their Leavers Assembly. Many thanks to their Head of Year, Pupil Support Manager, Director of KS4 & wider pastoral staff for giving them a lovely send off. The pupils were a credit to themselves, their families & our school.

Yesterday was a day of celebration at LDA as we congratulated our Yr11 2022 cohort on their GCSE exam results. Record results have been attained, the highest in our history, and we are so proud of our pupils. We truly wish them & their families all the best for the future.
