Councillor Rob Wilson, who represents Copthorne, says reductions in traffic levels predicted are small in many cases - say 80 per cent of traffic will remain on the Mount, 3/4 of traffic on Smithfield Road remains, while Shelton Road will see an increase of 150 per cent.
