I want you all to know that a combination of your generosity, prayer and the absolute best Neurosurgeon in the entire world, Dr. Dirk at SickKids hospital has saved my daughter's life! It is unlikely malignant(low grade), he was able to remove 99% and the last straw is seeing

Update: Good news again today. Unlikely that Jayda needs a second surgery for the Hydrocephalus. Her ventricles have responded and returned to almost normal form! We can start looking at the road to rehabilitation as opposed to another medical hurdle. #JaydasJourney

Here's an update on #JaydasJourney Today was the most difficult mental battle I've ever faced. At one point I was planning for the worst. She was not waking up and not responding...then this happened. She's still on assisted living but she is alert and making progress. 🙏

I'm overjoyed this afternoon. After doing every medical test under the sun, Jayda has a clean bill of health and the symptoms she was experiencing over Christmas break are almost completely resolved. Really good start to the new year for us personally. Thank you! #JaydasJourney

Let's get physio! Big progress with her neck muscles, & muscle responsiveness Staples were removed from her head today, she barely winced. She's had a 2 day headache since pulling the drain tube so hopefully we're still all clear on the hydrocephalus #JaydasJourney ♥️🙏♥️

Jayda had an updated MRI at SickKids last night. The appointment was extremely stress inducing.I felt crippling anxiety leading up to the appointment and now awaiting the results is just as bad. Positive news before Christmas would be the best gift of all 🙏

We've officially been set back in Jayda's recovery. A few days ago hydrocephalus was ruled out and the drainage tube removed. The CT scan looked good. Now she will require the surgery tonight. She will be back in the OR momentarily. Hoping for no more setbacks. #JaydasJourney

Dr passed on that the coma could last weeks. Her alertness is regressing some. I get some lab results tomorrow to determine if the tumor is cancerous. Hanging in there.

Now that I have the ability, I went back and looked at every penalty Tim Stützle has drawn this season. I was intending on posting the montage to prove that he doesn't embellish calls. Objectively, he does go down easy, quite often. It's something he has to change.

Jayda and I have returned home from SickKids. We still don't have a solid reasoning behind her symptoms that they're comfortable diagnosing but the symptoms have improved. We will go back in 2 weeks for another follow up. Thanks for all the kindness and words of encouragement. 💓
