Just closed a case that I started working on over two years ago. It’s probably, outside of jury trials, the most time I’ve spent on any one case. After multiple motions, hearings, and court dates, I was able to walk my client out of the court room with all 4 charges dismissed.

Been a crazy week. My mother’s house got struck by lighting in the middle of the night causing this fire. Extremely blessed and grateful she was able to get out. A real reality check. House and everything gone. We can get those things back, I’m just happy I still have my mom. 🙏🏾

Yesterday, I was able to get the court to dismiss 6 charges yesterday based on a competency issue mixed with a constitutional issue. Today, I was able to successfully argue that an officer did not have the probable cause to arrest my client for DWI.

There’s literally a group that stays outside the jail 24/7 to provide people who just got out of custody food, drinks, rides home, etc. out of the kindness of their hearts. It’s quite amazing.

The last couple days have been great man. The senior Faithboys graduated and signed, my LB got married, my brother and sis found out they’re having a boy and naming him after our brother that was killed, and In the midst of this pandemic I got a raise at work.

Finished my first season coaching 17u aau and I can say I enjoyed every moment. Proud of my guys and the way they competed and showed up all summer long. We finished 31-13 and were blessed to have had no major injuries and have multiple guys who have picked up college interest.
