Otay Mesa Port of Entry #CBP officers intercepted 75 lbs. of meth. X-ray showed anomalies and K9 screen was positive. Officers discovered 69 packages, valued at $206K, concealed inside the vehicle’s rear quarter panels.

Last week, @CBP officers conducting pre-primary inspections at the #SanYsidro POE discovered 106 packages from the rear quarter panels and spare tire well of a vehicle. The packages were tested and identified as methamphetamine with a weight of 152 pounds. Excellent work!

On Jul 21, @CBP officers working at the #SYS POE intercepted and seized over 124 lbs. of meth concealed in a non-factory compartment of a vehicle. The narcotics were seized, and the driver was booked into a federal facility for the smuggling attempt. Kudos to our officers👏!

Yesterday, @CBP officers at the Tecate Port of Entry targeted a Nissan Altima waiting in line. During a more in-depth inspection of the vehicle, officers found 55 packages of meth and heroin hidden inside the quarter panels. Way to keep dangerous drugs out of the U.S.!

The rapid response by #CBP officers at the San Ysidro Port of Entry was admirable. Trained officers recognized the man’s life threatening situation and administered Naxolene at the pedestrian area. I applaud the CBP officers, whose actions helped the man regain consciousness.

Today, @CBP officers at San Ysidro Port of Entry administered Naloxone to an unconscious and unresponsive individual. With their life-saving intervention, the individual became responsive and was transported to a local hospital.
