What a day - U16 boys beat Cumbria 5-1 in the morning then in the afternoon our U14 girls beat Merseyside 3-1 and our U16 girls also beat Merseyside 2-0. Fantastic from everyone who contributed to these scores - players / team management / spectators / county officials. 👍⚽️👏

Wow what a game. Our girls were 2-0 down to a strong Cheshire team with an inspired goalkeeper and time running out. However they managed to turn it around to win 4-3 to make the Northern Counties final. Daisy 3 & Ella were scorers but a great team effort all round. C’mon Durham.

Just returned from a trip to Cheshire. U16’s won 4-3 AET in dramatic fashion scoring in the last minute of normal time and then last minute extra time. Goals from Gettins 2 Nelson & Docherty but a team that keeps going until the final whistle is worthy of praise. C’mon Durham.

Big weekend ahead for our girls teams. On Saturday our U14s visit Lancashire and on Sunday our U16s host Staffordshire. These are both National inter-county quarter finals. We wish both teams well - you have done us proud already but a couple of wins would be nice. C’mon Durham👏

Gutsy performance from our U16’s this morning. A deflected goal down early on against a strong Cleveland team however managed an equaliser before half time. Second half grabbing a winner and defending well at the death. Goals from Nathan & Taylor but saves are just as important.

Following trials for ESFA U15 girls a squad of 16 has been selected to represent the North to play against the other 3 ESFA regions at Stafford on Sunday 9 December. Congratulation go to Rebecca Bell (Chester-le-Street) and Kiera Skelton (Gateshead) on their selection.

Super win tonight for our U18s tonight at Cleveland. A win enables us to win the group and gain a home semifinal. Proud of you guys. That means we have 3 of 4 teams topping our Northern Counties East leagues and the last team need a point to make 100% winners. C’mon Durham 👏👏👏

Big weekend for our boys teams U16 & U18. We visit North Yorkshire at Thirsk on Saturday needing two wins to progress through to Northern Counties semi- finals. We appreciate it’s going to be tough against good opposition. Dig deep Durham.
