Guess who's Network+ certified?? 💅
Networking has always been a weak area in my cybersecurity journey, also I find the subject incredibly boring, so I figured I would force myself to improve by taking an exam.
I truly despised studying for this one and I'm so glad it's over.
Sometimes I get so frustrated I'm not at the knowledge level I would like to be. I know knowledge comes with time but geez is it frustrating.
Coming from someone who likes to be good at everything immediately.
My brain never wants to see my growth and only my lack. At least

Y'all... this Pentest+.... idk how they are even recognized as a pentesting cert tbh. All theory no action. After I take this beta for fun I'm definitely moving on to a better cert for pentesting.
Also, the material has been kinda too easy?? Though maybe it's because I've been
Never taking a CompTIA cert online ever AGAIN all because of my Security+ experience...
Legit was told they were going to cancel my exam and I wouldn't get refunded because for some reason my laptop decided to be incompatible with the lockdown software.
I literally meditated
Consistency > Motivation
Success will be inevitable if you are just consistent with what you do.
You're not going to be motivated everyday, your brain treats every day as day one.
It's just all about consistency 👌
All this networking stuff is so frustrating.... I studied everyday this past week, just took another practice test and got a 60%. Only 2 points higher than my score a week ago.
I just have no idea why my brain won't compute or what I'm doing wrong in my studying...
I just hope
Silence is power!
Some people just can't stand "awkward silence" in a conversation, therefore they overshare more information in the process to fill the silence.
You don't even need to ask for more information, they'll give it to you freely to fill the conversation gaps.
Speaking of hate comments, people who actually take the time out of their days to comment hate are actual LOSERS
Like you're just telling me you LITERALLY have no life huh 🤔
Shoutout my discord community for creating a Minecraft server for everyone to play on, their own idea for community building.
Absolutely adorable and I love to see it 🐝🫶
Other introverts that go to conferences how do you keep your social battery somewhat full for days straight?
Because for me the issues are:
1: waking up early / being tired
2: talking to people constantly for 8+ hours and having to mask

It doesn't matter how smart you are if you don't put yourself out there.
There are a million other people way smarter than me, but I get noticed because I put attention on my work.

Studying networking actually pisses me off to no end. I'm just not learning it as fast as I would like.
I just really need to hammer it out the next 2 weeks. Studying networking at every free moment I have until my brain stops working lol
Any other cyber people have a good work life balance? If I'm not advancing my knowledge / career in some way it feels like wasted time? And when I'm not doing cyber I'm thinking about doing cyber? But then my brain gets all tired and I can't focus....
When I'm in a meeting with someone in my industry and they mention something I said on YouTube or LinkedIn I'm always like "wait how did you know that" but then I remember people watch my stuff LOL
I just came up with such a good video idea I'm so excited to film it....

Does social media "strategy" just seem fake asf?
"Do this CTA in your captions "
"Give out a freebie, you need their emails"
"Use these hashtags and have them comment a word for more engagement"
Like kindly stfu??
When I see people using those strategies it makes me want
Update on my Net+ study journey: I have realized the shorter the questions, the better I answer. And Dion is notorious for having paragraph questions with tons of filler words. And I know CompTIA questions are short, maybe not to the point.... but short. I have a little bit more
I love content creation sm. Doing research for videos, writing the scripts, filming, editing. It legit combines all my favorite things: research, writing, making videos, and cybersecurity.
It allows me to be technical, but also creative at the same time with no compromises.
It's a brat summer aka me sitting at my tiny desk in my 1x1 room with barely any sunlight squinting at my computer as my eyesight slowly declines from staring at screens for 12+ hours a day as i do my actual job, content creation, and studying all ion various sized screens
What would y'all say are good tools to learn for SaaS development or just development in general? I want to learn how to build things for the internet lol
