48 years ago today my incredible Grandad led Southampton to victory in the 1976FA Cup final against Manchester United.Words can’t express how much Lawrie McMenemy means to so many, especially my family and me. Love you Grandad, I’m so proud to be your grandson.Happy anniversary!

Today I was awarded with the Most Improved Player award at my beloved Newport Inn Cricket Club. I joined this club 3 years ago when I was in despair at the loss of my darling Mummy and yearning for a purpose in life. This amazing club and sport of cricket gave me back my life💙🏏

Tonight I’ve made a pilgrimage to the glorious Oval.I walked around for an hour, thinking about great memories that I’ve shared here and how much cricket means to me. I even had a little joyful cry as I approached the gates.This sport means EVERYTHING to me and I love you all💗🏏
