In Ep9. Rey hears the voices of Ahsoka Tano, Mace Windu, Luminara Unduli, Aayla Secura, Kanan Jarrus, and Adi Gallia calling out to her.
However, none of these Jedi had trained to retained their individuality in the Force after death, so this makes no sense
The inconsistency of Yoda's Lightsaber:
-Destroyed in the 2017 Vader comic.
-Yoda never wants to wield a Lightsaber again in a comic.
-Yoda's Lightsaber is intact in the Book of Boba Fett
In Ep9, Rey gets a power boost from several dead Jedi which allows her to overpower Palpatine.
This ability has never been done before, and there are many instances in the 6 films where this would have been quite useful.
Pablo Hidalgo claims that George Lucas likes the Disney Kenobi series.
However, Hidalgo provides no evidence and given his history: This is most likely a lie.
Vader has the ability to bind souls to certain locations. As he did with the Grand Inquisitor, who can interact with the physical world.
(Issue 6 of the 2020 comics)
The Acolyte moves away from George's idea of the Force.
Going from "Destroying the Dark side is balance" as was always the intent from the creator, to "Equal light and dark side is balance".
I wouldnt say this went "viral" but I was arguing with this guy for hours trying to convince me that the sequels were gonna get erased and that no one will remember them. So I asked this and the fandom reinforcements came lol i was so happy
The 'Crimson Reign comic attempts to retcon this.
However it creates a plot-hole:
When did Yoda get this 2nd Lightsaber? Where did he keep it prior to his exile?
As per-usual, Disney attempt to fix an inconsistency has only made things worse.
The Empire has propaganda showing Darth Vader, yet Obi-Wan nor the Ghost Crew know who he is.
(Star Wars Propaganda: A History of Persuasive Art in the Galaxy. 2016)
The replies to this poor dude speak VOLUMES as to what kind of people buy into Disney Star Wars.
The irony and lack of self-awareness is astonishing, but nothing I haven't seen before.
At the end of ROTS, Yoda instructs Obi-Wan to continue his training and protect Luke.
He does not train or properly protect Luke for 10 years in Kenobiβ’οΈ
Reva Sevander.
-Survived getting stabbed as a child and as adult, both having been done by Vader.
-Wants to avenge the Jedi, yet has killed many of them as an Inquisitor.
-Stabbed the Grand Inquisitor and got away with it.
(Kenobi show, 2022)
George Lucas himself has stated that "Balance in the Force" is achieved when the Dark Side is vanquished.
That is the creator's word; it cannot be overwritten or changed
Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh somehow managed to modify her Lightsaber to switch between 'blade' and 'whip' modes.
(The High Republic: A Test of Courage - 2021)
The latest episode 'Resolve', shows Ahsoka fighting an Inquisitor.
Said character does not resemble the Sixth Brother (from the novel) in the slightest.
Kylo Ren managed to find a near-mint Tie Fighter within the wreckage of the 2nd Death Star, which is then used to fly to a different star-system.
(2019)
She knows:
Anakin Skywalker is Darth Vader.
That kidnapping Leia would draw out Kenobi.
That Luke is the descendant of Darth Vader.
How does she know? Convenience.
This whole scene:
1) Ahsoka does melee combat with ships
2) The fighters attack her and not the ship
3) The ships fly close enough to get slashed apart
4) The fighters weapons are as weak as hand-held blasters
5) Ahsoka is unable to 'Mary Poppins' herself back to the ship
Star Wars Eclipse takes place one to two-hundred years before TPM. But shows a war occurring in this era.
A conflict that is never brought up in TCW or the PT, and contradicts the notion that the galaxy had been at peace for a millennium until the Clone Wars.
This same mistake occurred in the TCW episode 'Hostage Crisis'.
However, TCW is 'Disney SW' by proxy of Dave Filoni and its consistent lack of cohesion with other SW work, so it'll be held in the same regard.
This account showcases the retcons, inconsistencies, and contradictions of Disney Star Wars, as well as the irl controversies that go with it.
There is a difference between 'creativity', and contradicting lore.
@iamchrispaezjr
Anakin's "father" is the Force. He's an automatic exception to the rule with his staggeringly high power and unnatural conception.
Everyone else has to train to keep their individuality. Thats how it is. This isn't hard to understand
Lando manages to gather a huge fleet to help fight Palpatine's fleet. Yet this wasn't possible when the First Order first cropped up. Nor did they assist in TLJ.
(Episode 9. 2019)
@Hotaru99
Anakin has the highest potential of any Force User in the franchise and he was literally birthed by the Force.
Him retaining his individuality after death with no prior training makes sense.
Luke had training, at least in the EU.
The main goal of this account is showcase the craziness of Disney Star Wars, and to help dissuade the irrational hate against Star Wars Legends.
Retweets would be very much appreciated.
Resurgent-class Star Destroyers are capable of going as fast as Tie Fighters, and yet are unable to catch up to a few obsolete ships.
(Before the Awakening, and TLJ)
In Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan vows to train to become a Force Ghost and protect Luke during his exile.
However, in the Kenobi show (set 10 years after this), he isn't training and works at a butcher shop, and outright leaves Luke
(2005 and 2022)
In her interview with Josh Gad, Daisy Ridley states that Rey's lineage was never finalized, even during the filming of Episode 9; The last film of a trilogy.
(2020)
George Lucas states that ideas from his 6 films "got lost" in Disney Star Wars.
However some news posts misconstrue George's words to make it seem like he enjoys Disney's work.
(May 24, 2024)
@ThatTallGuy02
Qui-Gon had incomplete training, its outright stated in ROTS; which is what prompts Yoda and Obi-Wan to do what Qui-Gon tried to do.
The scene in Kenobi is one of many fuck ups the show makes.
Ventress is shown to be alive in the last Season of Bad Batch, despite the fact she died in the TCW story "Dark Disciple".
(Bad Batch Final Season Trailer)
SWExplained misconstrues George's words.
What the "air in space" line is referring to is the Falcon's movement being compared to a race car drifting, and the line is clearly said in jest seeing as he laughs.
