"Someday I'm gonna make great machines that fly. And me and my friends are gonna go flying together into the forever and beautiful sky. Peter, and Gamora, and Drax, and Groot, and me... Rocket!"
Let me go into why exactly this scene is so important.
-Rocket (who was in a coma for most of the movie) is back in action for the first time
-heโs finally fighting back against his abusive creator
-heโs the main character
They picked a perfect scene bro
The way Rocket was so taken aback by this gesture. He was so used to how the High Evolutionary treated him when he was sad that he wasnโt expecting Drax to actually comfort him.
NOOOOOO ROCKET!!! DONT STEAL THE BATTERIES!!! THEYโRE GONNA CHASE YOU THE WHOLE MOVIE AND YONDU IS GONNA GET KILLED!!! THEN 12 YEARS LATER THEYโLL CREATE SOMEONE TO KIDNAP YOU AND HEโLL PUT YOU IN A NEAR FATAL COMA!!! YOUโLL END UP MEETING YOUR CREATOR AGAIN ROCKET NOOOOOOOO!!!
Hold on sec, are we all going fucking insane?! These are not the kind of movies you make. In large part you make juvenile shite, with dick-jokes, sex references and you don't write adult characters. In one movie you have 2 characters kill innocent people while doing sexual
Honestly when I look at peopleโs complaints for Kung Fu Panda 4 itโs always either โAquafinaโ or โitโs just okay even though it shouldโve been better.โ Or just reaches/nitpicks. I feel like most peopleโs problem with Dreamworks is theyโre just setting their expectations too high.
The amount of people saying โbut these all suckedโ is crazy to me. Letโs take GOTG 3 for example. I fucking dare you to give me a legitimate understandable reason as to why you think that movie sucks.
First movie he showed visible signs of trauma and the entire second revolved around him trying to accept that he deserves to be loved. Broโs always been a fucking mess. ๐ญ
I swear this movie is gonna be the next Spider-Man: No Way Home where itโll be very good but you canโt even enjoy it without someone screaming in your ear that it sucks because cameos = bad
No way people are actually complaining about him having sleeves. They did that because Hugh is susceptible to SKIN CANCER but yโall were too busy bitching about comic accuracy to realize that.
HiTop deadass said that Homecomingโs high school environment was unrealistic because there were no constant fights or smoking in the bathroom. Like, he realizes this is a lighthearted superhero movie right?
Also his beloved Raimi movies didnโt even do that. Goofy ass complaint.
About that whole controversy over the whole โIโm not from Earth, Iโm from Missouriโ line from Infinity War.
Obviously Quill wouldnโt actually forget Missouri is on Earth. But, having any kind of slip up like that is definitely something he would do.
I personally donโt mind it.

I love how mad Quill and the rest of the Guardians got when they saw what the High Evolutionary did to Rocket. You could really see throughout the movie how much they care about him.
โBut this movie wasnโt good!โ Alright, even just one of these is enough to prove my point. Liking any of these yet still wanting the MCU to end after Endgame makes no sense cuz how could you like something if you wish it didnโt exist? Cuz it wouldnโt have existed otherwise.
Rigby: is immature and makes a lot of mistakes but is still fiercely loyal and grows out of his bad behaviors
Eddy: is a scumbag but has his reasons for it and still isnโt a complete shithead
Daffy: is mean and cocky but like the other 3 isnโt a complete asshole
Eric Cartman:

Actually according to James it was. He even said that this moment was the first time Rocket felt any form of physical affection throughout his life.
