Important protest - fab turnout - and major props to CS regular @TheHatton for his tireless campaigning. Time for @unitedutilities to do the right thing. Depriving locals and visitors of a road their forebears promised to keep open forever is not a good look.

On OS maps it's Burnt Horse. To locals it's Brunt Hause. And even that is likely a corruption of Brant (steep) Hause. Whichever... it is undoubtedly the finest way up Lonscale Fell.
