Today a couple travelled six hours to spend a few days at a holiday let in Stow. Unfortunately they were greeted by PCSO Symes who told them to travel six hours back. Holiday homes are not open for business. You can travel as far as you want for exercise but must return home.

On 27th March 2020 police attended a 999 call following a baby arriving early in the car on the way to hospital. Dad helped Mum amazingly and police assisted until an ambulance arrived. Mum & baby girl are doing well. Just a moment can make you feel how wonderful life is!

Our Inspector saw a schoolgirl stood at the war memorial in Minchinhampton earlier. She approached her & felt very emotional to see she was laying hand painted poppy pebbles with the names of all the individual soldiers killed in action in WWI who are named on the memorial.1/2

Award winning officer Nick Westmacott retires today and will be missed! He joined as a Special in 2007 and in 2009 he became a PC. He then joined the Cotswolds Neighbourhood team 9 years ago. He said "I joined the police aged 40 and it has been the best job I've ever had."

After an 12 month investigation by the Neighbourhood Policing Team we executed a warrant on the Rissington Road in Bourton on Wednesday with help from firearms and crime ops. 60 cannabis plants seized, 2 males arrested and vital intelligence gained.

NPT have been supported by Special Constables and Road Policing team today. Seven vehicles seized at the last count for a number of offences including No Tax -No Insurance -Hare Coursing -Used in Crime . A good result and uninsured, un road worthy vehicles taken off the road.
