While the Gruden/RG3 interaction is funny af, it is pretty sad that it’s been almost a decade and RG3 still refuses to take any accountability for not working out in the NFL.
- Saleh has the Jets at 4-2 in his 2nd year
- Daboll has the Giants at 5-1 in his 1st year
- O’Connell has the Vikings at 5-1 in his 1st year
- Zach Taylor had Bengals in the SB his 3rd year
It’s doesn’t take 4-5 years to turn things around
If you want speed, you get Tyreek Hill
If you want size, you get Calvin Johnson
If you want route running, you get Antonio Brown
If you want hands, you get Larry Fitzgerald
If you want all of that, you get Luke McCaffrey 😤
GM Ron Rivera
2022 1st round pick: Practicing as a holder on PATs/FGs
2022 2nd round pick: 3 total snaps in a year and a half
2023 1st round pick: Benched and not playing by week six
2023 2nd round pick: 7 total snaps in six weeks
Jeremy Reaves was named as the special teams pro bowler for the NFC and made the first ever player voted all-pro team.
He has now also been named PFF’s special teams player of the year with a 91.1 grade on 373 snaps.
Absolutely incredible season from
@JR1ERA
💯
List of players/coaches I’ve seen people say they’re “done with” in the last 24 hours:
- Sam Howell
- Eric Bieniemy
- Kam Curl
- Chase Young
- The entire starting O-line
- Emmanuel Forbes
- Ron Rivera
- Antonio Gibson
- Quan Martin
All this after one loss lmao
- Signing Ryan Fitzpatrick to start for an entire season
- Trading a 2nd and 3rd for Carson Wentz (also paying him $28 mil)
- Starting Heinicke over Howell in a meaningless game
I’ve never seen a coach more clueless about the QB position than Rivera
Everytime Kirk Cousins plays in prime time, my feed is 90% Washington fans hating on him.
1. It’s been over 5 years since he played here.
2. He’s started 6 seasons in Minnesota compared to just 3 in Washington
It’s 2023 and we have a young QB starting, can we please move on?
Nick Wright just said Washington’s WR, TE, and RB room is one of the worst in the league and McLaurin wasn’t even close to being a top 15 WR… good to know he does absolutely no homework before he goes on air
I know I’m in the minority, but I really hope they don’t make a trade for Aiyuk. Trading a high draft pick for a player and immediately giving them $25+ mil per year is not ideal.
They have McLaurin and Dotson. Just draft a WR today and that room is set.
Antonio Gibson has talent, but has been misused as a traditional RB.
He should be used in more of a Deebo Samuel-type role. Give him the ball in open space and let him work.
We have to have the only head coach and front office in the league that has a great WR trio and decides they want to be a run heavy offense.
I genuinely don’t understand drafting Dotson last year if they just want to run the ball 35+ times a game.
If I’m the
#Commanders
I’m trading down for a haul.
Way too many pieces to fill to grab a QB that high. Try free agency or get a better O line for Howell the gunslinger.
Rivera: 3 years (playoffs once at 7-9)
McCarthy: 3 years (playoff twice)
Siranni: 2 years (playoffs twice)
Daboll: 1 year (playoffs once)
But nothing better than a 4-5 year rebuild, am I right?
🚨 DEVLOPING: In an interview, Peters told Drake Maye they’re considering him at 2. Josh Harris then stood up and roundhouse kicked Peters in the face.
Harris said: “I’m running the show” and that “this is my world and you’re just living in it.”
Harris wants Mac Jones in D.C.
Chase Young at his worst is a top 10 run defender and decent pass rusher. Again this is at his worst.
Picking up his 5th year option should be a no brainer.
Rick Spielman, who helped hire Adam Peters, has said multiple times that he believes the pick will be Maye.
Daniel Jeremiah said knowing Adam Peters, he thinks the pick will be Maye.
Seems those who talk to and know Peters believe Maye is his guy.
Focused on building something special, the
@Commanders
may not prioritize a rebrand now. But, if they do, . A local with global brand experience, even for the rumored 3rd jersey/uniform.
@Markein
@whoisjwright
The Jags signed Brandon Scherff to a 3 year/$49.5 million deal. He only managed a 59 grade in the regular season.
His lowest graded season in Washington was 2018 with a 72.5.
In the past week:
“Washington is leaning towards JD”
“Many believe Maye is going to be the pick”
“Executives believe Peters will take McCarthy at 2”
At this point, they might as well throw Nix and Penix into the mix just to be safe lmao
Javonte Jean-Baptise:
- 99th percentile in run defense grade
- 86th percentile in run stop %
- 88th percentile in pass rush grade on true pass sets
- 82nd percentile in pass rush win rate
PFF’s 164th ranked prospect taken at 222
In the 2022 National Championship, Brandon Coleman had arguably a perfect game in pass protection.
- 0 sacks, hits, hurries, or pressures allowed
- 89.8 pass block grade
And again this was the National Championship game… Against Georgia’s defense
Charles Leno’s pass blocking grades:
2021: 87.3 (2nd highest)
2022: 80.9 (11th highest)
He’s a good LT that would have a couple bad reps a game. The interior O-Line and QB play made him look worse than he actually was this year.
Also
#WPMOYChallenge
Leno
Percy Butler in 866 career coverage snaps:
1 TD allowed
3 INTs
52.7 allowed completion %
Also has elite level special teams grades the past three years 💯
Age of starting O-Line from this season next year:
Leno: 32
Norwell: 32
Roullier: 30
Turner: 30
Cosmi: 24
Depth:
Schweitzer: 30
Larsen: 32
Lucas: 32
One lineman under the age of 30. Absolutely have to get younger pieces this offseason.
I saw Howell in the preseason. He never once looked overwhelmed.
To think he can’t play in a meaningless game is absurd. Not saying he’ll look great or even good, but it’s ridiculous to not give him this experience.
Some takes I’ve seen on this app so far:
Caleb Williams: isn’t that good
Drake Maye: isn’t that good
Jayden Daniels: isn’t that good
Bo Nix: isn’t that good
Michael Penix: isn’t that good
It’s going to be a long draft season lmao
