Having missed a celebration assembly because of snow day last week it was a double celebration this week - the focus of both resilience and respect. Well done to everyone demonstrating our values.

Reception, your caterpillars have grown and become chrysalides over night!
We need to leave them now for 2 days to safely harden. Before we move them into their new home!
Superb information texts written by children in year 4 on the water cycle. You can tell how much effort has gone into the writing and presentation of the booklets. Great job!
Reception - your first butterfly has emerged!
Our butterfly is hanging from from the side of the house whilst its wings hardens and strengthens.
In one to two hours time it will be ready to fly! 🦋
It was an exciting day today, with many Year 6 children running in the elections for Head Boy, Head Girl and Prefects! Looking forward to the results and feeling very proud of our children! 🥰

Overnight three more butterflies have emerged!
We have given the butterflies their favourite fruit food - fresh cut oranges and apples.
We have made nectar (sugar water) and have put it on a tissue in the house.
Another post for Reception - After 2 days the chrysalis has hardened.
We are ready to move to our new butterfly home!
Over the next week will be transforming inside to become beautiful butterflies!
Watch out for our magical birth soon.
Are Y6 feeling excited? Parents how are you feeling? Y6 are going on a 3 day residential today. Hope they've packed their wellies and waterproof coats! 🥾

Over the Christmas holidays some children decided to work at home and make something related to their new topic. Take a look at some of the ones I've photographed from around school. They're fabulous!
