Throughout the primary, I would ask Democratic presidential candidates "what's your priority. What's the first bill you move." No one ever wanted to give a clean answer, understanably, but we're seeing the inability to prioritize play out in real time.

Both @carolecadwalla and @lukeharding1968 emphasizing that the 2016 Trump and Brexit operations were linked and planned long in advance. The two operations featured the same goals and many of the same players -- obviously the Kremlin, but well beyond it as well.

It took less than one hour to debunk this story. In the before times it wouldn't even have made it to print. Instead it got RTed almost 5000 times. Unless we learn to slow down again "the discourse" will remain unproductive and easy to manipulate. We need to do better.
