Field lacrosse is good. Box lacrosse is good. Men's and Women's lacrosse are both good. The new Olympic lacrosse is good. 3on3 lacrosse, in its many forms, is good. Just "throwing around" lacrosse is good. Backyard lacrosse is good. Basement lacrosse is good. The game is good.

Bring back D1 vs D3 lacrosse games. Find potentially “even” games (top level D3s vs lower level D1s), make it official, show no fear, then show no mercy. No one has anything to lose other than a little pride. Tufts vs Dartmouth RIT vs St Bonnie Wesleyan vs Sacred Heart DO IT.

PLL made it through year 1 when so many said it wouldn't work. Props. MLL hosted a full season & stepped up their game when so many said they were done. Props. NLL expanded and pushed forward when so many said it could not. Props. Props to pro lacrosse. PROPS!

So... Under Armour is out of the lacrosse biz, at least for now. I knew they were struggling financially in general, but I'll be honest, I did not see this wholesale exit coming. They made some good products, it's a loss for lacrosse.

If you think it’s all about winning and losing, then you never played lacrosse. It’s about competing your hardest, and playing as well as you possibly can, to honor something bigger than yourself. Winning the game is certainly a bonus, but it’s not a zero sum thing.

Today was a good day. Over 30 kids tried lacrosse for the first time. They shot tennis balls at a goal, ran relay races, and smiled a lot, as older players egged them on, and the older players smiled a lot too. Today was a good day.

They still have to fly, land, and enter Israel, but the entire Iroquois team traveling on Haudenosaunee passports outside of North America is a huge victory for First Nations people. It sets a new legal precedent in a big way.

One of the truly excellent aspects of lacrosse is that average at best players (like me, for example) get to play with and against pro players in out of season tourneys/events, and it’s just a regular thing. No big deal. I think that’s pretty cool.

In case you were curious, @PremierLacrosse got a .29 Nielsen rating for Sunday NBC game. Perspective: NCAA D1 finals usually get around a .2 rating. I've never seen a lacrosse game get a .29 rating before. Research needed, but might be most watched live lacrosse game ever?

The HS club team I coach played in "B" tourneys this June. I saw 0 totally out of control parents, 0 brawls, 0 refs getting absolutely abused, 0 dad fights, & no BS. Kids were kids, they played games, they had fun. There IS something great about "lower" level lacrosse.

I hope the D2 and D3 lacrosse national championship games are on ESPN+ (or Watch or whatever) this year. They used to be on real TV, and I get why they wouldn't be on ESPN or ESPN2 nowadays as the network has grown, but seeing them on ESPN+ would be pretty neat.

I am so happy that leadership in lacrosse listened to the community and is acting on the Iroquois/Olympic issue. Many organizations supported the Olympic vision as it was originally proposed (which excluded IRO), but when the community spoke up, they reversed direction. Love it.

Contracting to teams with independent owners makes sense. Getting TV rights back makes sense. Focusing on a strategic vision makes sense. Announcing contraction after 2 drafts, a rebranding, and the 2019 schedule release, and then doing so on April 1st, does not make sense.

Out of the 16 teams left in the D3 men's lacrosse playoffs, 4 are from the NESCAC. That's 25% for you English majors out there. In the round of 8, there will be at least 1 NESCAC team, and as many as 3. Just another year in D3 lacrosse. NESCAC really is the best 'AC.

Players - wear your lacrosse helmet the way it’s designed to be worn. Coaches - teach your players how to properly wear their helmets. Refs - do not let players on the field with second bar or too much tilt. We take head injuries seriously, right? This is an easy choice.

There are many aspects of lacrosse that can be difficult to coach, but teaching a kid with some experience (but very little coaching) why they should learn how to shoot overhand might be the most challenging. Their desire to go sidearm high to high popcorn is unassailable.

Cuse should seal the #22 jersey in a special man-made stone. Every year freshmen get a chance to pull it out. Whichever freshman pulls it out gets to wear it, leads Cuse to 4 nattys, and then becomes King of England. His best friend will go on to star in Top Gun. That's my take.

There’s a college game being played at USA Lacrosse HQ today and I would LOVE to watch it but there is no stream for the game. Seriously USA Lacrosse what in the absolute hell is wrong with you?!?!? This field has been around for a couple years, figure it out.
