Recruits, take it from someone who played D2 ball & got the opportunity to play in the NFL. Find the college that is going to give you YOUR BEST opportunity athletically & academically. Plenty of “D1” players go play at small schools. Sometimes the biggest school isn’t the best.

Most players don’t realize the daily schedule of lifting, meetings, class & practice is just the bare minimum. The GREAT players do more: extra lifting, film, recovery work, study, eat right, sleep enough, etc. Make time or make excuses.

Don’t ever think your too good for the school recruiting/offering you. What you did in high school is irrelevant in college (at any level). There are 50+ guys on that team already who did the same thing, if not more.

Nothing more frustrating than seeing college coaches do majority of recruiting based on numbers (height, weight, speed). Plenty of great players out there that are slipping through the cracks with traits you can’t see from a piece of paper (heart, work ethic, discipline).

You either learn to love it, or you quit. I had 30+ guys in my recruiting class… only 4 of us made it through the whole way. Not many understand this grind. When you step into the real world (9-5) those “long days” at work, are what we called “off days” during camp.

The new softball outfield conversion for @Raven_Softball is almost complete. Mammoth crews officially finished the base & it is ready for turf. 2021 infield & wings —> 2023 full field synthetic turf. Benedictine College has some of the best athletic facilities in NAIA period!
