Huge disappointment @THORPEPARK as Hyperia's queue has closed half an hour early! This was not made clear throughout the day, with the app showing a 9pm close. Lots of disappointed guests as the app is still incorrectly showing the ride as open! What a sour end to the day.

Giving my honest feedback here. Scanning of mobile QR codes at every ride ruins the enjoyment of what should be a fun, hassle-free day at a theme park. It slows down queues, causes stress about phone charge, and encourages people to have their phones out as they board rides.

BPB's lineup is not the issue. Parks with much less impressive rides on offer are more successful. At its core, the issue with PB is that they (the business as a whole) treat customers like an inconvenience. That ethos has to change from the top for the place to thrive imo.

Alton Towers today fell far short of offering the experience that the 'UK's biggest theme park' should do. Having Hex, Blade, and Congo River Rapids closed all day takes away those vital support rides, then with horrendous availability on everything else, it fails to be fun.

I'm still reeling from how good that episode was. So wildly different from anything else, but still has its unique 'DW charm'. Tennant & Tate on top form, it was emotional, funny & downright unsettling! DW really is wonderful - still able to surprise like that after 60 years.

Valhalla @Pleasure_Beach is not running very well today. After a 90 minute wait due to two stoppages, we got a ride with minimal steam, the hammers and rolling log did not work, and only one fire ball. I love the ride, but it's a shame it is still so inconsistent.

Pleasure Beach opening weekend never used to be such a disaster. Prior to 2019, it was always pretty good in my experience (4 times between 2015 - 18) with pretty much all rides open. The idea that it has always been like this is simply not true. We shouldn't accept such crap.

There's an incredible atmosphere around Hyperia as we wait for our evening ride! I have to say, @THORPEPARK have absolutely smashed today, the staff have been so friendly and helpful and the queue management has been exceptional.

BPB sent an email yesterday advertising 10pm close on Sat. The day after sending this (today), the closing time has been adjusted to 9pm. This is transparent; PB are misleading people to get them to book, then changing the hours after they've got the bookings in. (2/2)
