Despite not winning a national championship, Alabama's defense finished with 57 sacks in 2021 -- the most of the Nick Saban era. The previous high was 54 in 2016. That defense was the most entertaining under Saban. Will Anderson led everyone with 17.5 sacks last year.

Two reasons why Tua Tagovailoa deserves the Heisman Trophy. 1. He has four 1,000-yard career receivers on the roster right now. 2. He has changed the culture of Alabama football, to where it has become more offensive (pass happy) minded. No too many QB’s can say that.
