If you aren’t committed enough to get up shots daily this time of the year, please don’t talk about winning, and definitely don’t talk about wanting to be a pro. The 8-20 hours per week you get with your team is not enough work for 99% of college hoopers. 🐅

If you can’t show up on time to the bus, film, practice etc... How can your coaches count on you to not melt on a ball screen or to not blow a coverage during the game. It all matters!! Being on time shows your commitment to the process.

Quitting is a learned behavior. Don’t let your kids quit anything mid season. Quitting kids become quitting adults when things get tough. No matter how hard it is, honor your commitment and if needed make a change after the season.

How do you regulate NIL? NCAA should fund all NIL Collectives. Each league has a salary cap and every team in that league gets the SAME amount. Money limited to 100,000 but not to exceed 1,000,000.00 based on conference. With a level playing field, go and build your roster. 🤞🏾

NEWS: Indiana forward Payton Sparks in entering the transfer portal, a source tells me. Sparks began his career playing two seasons at Ball State before making the move to Bloomington last spring. Started 2 of the 24 games he played in this season. He averaged 2.1PPG and 1.8RPG

Most people think they want 2 coach. Until they get in the middle of 70+ hour weeks, 10 hour bus rides, laundry at 3am, fund raising, not seeing ur family for days, missing kids games, managing personalities & dreams, & all while being 2nd guessed by every person u encounter!

I hope these young athletes have good people around them showing them how to invest all this money. I’d love to see a kid take NIL in the form of an investment property. Money comes and goes but rental income last forever. 🔥🆙

Average players are ok with averaging 20 per game on a losing team. Great players are ok averaging 10 per game on a WINNING team. There are a ton of ways to affect winning without scoring. Defend, Rebound, Communication, making the extra pass, cheering #TheU
