Not sure it’s possible to Love a kid more than I love our guy Tavarius. Never missed a practice/game and was invested in the squad with his whole heart and soul. We are all better because T wanted to be a part of the ride. When it ends it’s always too soon.

In an interview before game 1 I heard Eovaldi thank 2 people for helping him get to this point, His dad, and his high school coach. I wish people could truly comprehend how much a high school coach is willing to do for his players to see them succeed. It just takes trust.

Nathan Eovaldi just had one of the greatest Postseasons we’ve ever seen by a pitcher. 5-0 (In 6 starts) 2.95 ERA 36.2 IP 41 Ks Won clinching game of the World Series He is also the first pitcher to win 5 games in a single Postseason.

The more I watch football coaches interactions with referees on the sideline the more I think baseball needs 15 yard flags for arguing. Instead I had to do a 6 hour online anger management course for telling an umpire we needed to know the count. Go figure.
