I will no longer be the football coach at Wesley chapel high school… I will miss all the professional connections and my extended family in these boys… all the boys I coached became men and I’m so so proud of them and the fact they always did it the right way!
The original group. They’ve played all four years here since I started. They stayed loyal through the ups and the downs. One more game this year but right now this group is at a 23-15 record. Quite the turnaround for Chapel. These first four years I’ll never forget. Thanks guys!
Wildcat word of the day: FAMILY! Sometimes we’re not all born into it but we work to be able to call each other family! You’ve got to be willing to do anything for your family... meet Savanah Grace Egan - the newest member to the wildcat family.

Very humbled to be nominated and elected by my peers as ALL SAC coach of the year for the East side! Couldn’t of done it without a great group of players and coaches and the best admin in Pasco county there to support us!

@AthIeticsWCHS
These guys played hungry and inspired football for 4 quarters. No selfishness to be found. Everyone did their part! This meant so much to us as a team to prove some people wrong that left us for dead. Love my guys!

When a FB/LB goes to take reps as a guard and doesn’t whine about changing his number and tells you the team and what it needs is what matters… you know the team is getting right quick! Love to see it…
It’s FANTASTIC to see these Pasco athletes finally getting offered! A lot of them seniors too. It’s never too late to perfect your craft and get noticed... if you’re a dude they will FIND you! Homegrown...
#pascoproud
Proud of the effort from our team tonight! Lots to work on still to get better... they set a goal for a shut out for their DC and they got it! Hudson played tough till the last whistle. Much respect for them as well. 34-0 and move to 2-0!
Be sure to check out the Wesley chapel weekly for a story on our first ever inductee into the Wesley Chapel football Hall of Honor… Ellrie Allen!
@EllrieAlllen
Congrats to Jelani Vassell, Brenden Maddox, Steven Mira, Isaiah Cole, Quay Jones, Tyson Gillott, and Fletcher Martin on making the 2019 East Side All-Star Team!
A 5-4 finish to our season. I will never forget our group of seniors and the selfless attitude this team embodied. It was never about any one person and always about the guy next to you and having his back! One last time

TEAM BEFORE SELF!!!!
Very proud of our guys and their effort tonight. Not scared to go toe to toe with anyone. Fought the whole four quarters and grew as a team. Despite a tough game we still got a ton better as a cohesive unit! Moving in the right direction…

Punched the clock and went to work! Love this team. Love the effort out of everyone. Some guys played through injuries because they knew their brothers needed this one. This family bond will last a lifetime… straight warriors!!!
This Friday night at Wiregrass will be a white out for our student section. We need your support
@WCHS_Wildcats
. This team is special and plays hard! Please be there and get LOUD!!!
Hard fought tough game for us tonight. Im proud of our effort tonight and know our guys will come Monday ready to improve!
@CoachDurchik
good game coach. Every year it’s a barn burner!
Sometimes as coaches we take our platform for granted... make sure your kids know you care. One of the things we hang our hat on is the door is always open to talk to us... no matter what the problem is we can always find a solution!
I once learned an act of kindness form
@CoachTico
to always leave the guy after you a pullover or two. I did that and left a note with a few pointers if he wants them… 🍻 to the next guy!
Yesterday was a special day for the
@WCHS_Wildcats
football program. I will cherish the memories made with this group of boys! They played their hearts out all year. Football isn’t always about the wins and losses… sometimes it’s just about what the game instills in you!

Football isn’t about how many offers you have or how many schools you can jump and switch like you do t-shirts. It’s about putting in time and becoming part of something bigger than you! A teammate, a family member!
Some kids talk about stars and rankings and haven’t played a down of varsity football yet. How about being hungry, humble, and working your rear end off to make your TEAM better!
Coaches from UCF, Iowa State, FSU, FAU, and FIU all stopping by this week to recruit our area. Great to see the coaches back out on the road putting in the work!
Proud to announce former Chapel player and D1 athlete
@EllrieAlllen
coming home for the season to intern and volunteer as our LBs coach! His excitement and intensity for this game is second to none!
Football and athletics can truly transcend us. Watched one of my brothers lay his mother to rest today and the outpour of support from former and current coaches and players was remarkable!
@coachSKYNYRD
I love you and we’ll all miss momma Fenton. God bless your family!
Wildcat word of the day: LOYALTY! Some kids will jump around and go to 3 different schools till they find the best possible fit... others trust the process and become part of something bigger then themselves! Wildcats win 35-7
EVERY single thing I do in this life is for them. When it’s all said and done I want to look them in the eyes and I want them to be proud of what I am and know that I will do my best no matter what happens. The only constant I can depend on...

Cypress Creek Coyotes in the first ever meeting WEEK 1 of the regular season. We are calling this new rivalry THE BOYETTE BRAWL!!! We may make this thing a tradition and start every season off with this game!
Today I gave out my second game ball as a head coach. I gave it to a 3 year scout team player who got his first start Friday. He’s our smallest linemen. Never complains, never misses, and ALWAYS helps the team. Players like him are the back bone of a good football program!
At Chapel we constantly teach kids to do the right thing. We are building a program the right way. Building men. A school’s size or how many points they score will never determine how much class they have. Remember that one day the shoe will be on the other foot.
#lifelessons
Tremendous effort tonight by our team. With a couple players out we had guys fill in and never miss a beat. Sunlake played hard and fought throughout the night. Hats off to
@SunlakeFootball
and the squad they’ve put together this year. Best of luck this year!

...Its time for us to prove we belong. We preach to do your talking with your pads, not you’re mouth. We’ve got kids that are hungry and humble and they’re working their butts off daily! Go WILDCATS!!!
With losing Z Hills on the schedule due to covid we have moved our open week to 9/18 and have scheduled Hudson High school

at chapel. Once our district schedules come out we will be looking for 2-3 more area teams to balance our home and away schedule!
The Wildcat football team and coaching staff would like to thank the admin, staff, and Wildcat Nation for showing up big last night! A truly electric environment to play football in!

Some days are tough as a coach... then you get a picture like this from a former player!
@EllrieAlllen
reading to the kids today. Current FAMU player but ALWAYS a wildcat!
A long film session with my coaches is just what the doctor ordered after a sleepless night. It stings still but the Wildcats of WCHS are still 0-0. I still believe in my team and their resiliency. I’m ready for a tremendous week of work to get us ready for the first game!
Let me tell you about these Falcons off 52 in Hudson, FL. We face injury bug and adversity and we just got better! This defense can eat. For the doubters and the fantasy hs football committee all we can say is thank you for the motivation! 🤫

It’s the Wild West out here… teaching discipline, hard work, hard nosed football, building something, giving everything to the cause doesn’t matter anymore… half the guys doing it right and half the guys without an ounce of professionalism. What. A. Joke…
Absolutely hate the fact that people look at this game as a business or a stepping stone. It’s so much more... it makes you a better friend, employee, husband, and father. It teaches you how to overcome adversity. Just give it a chance to...
