New JAMA paper by Myran et al Almost half of the young males (14-24yo) presenting to ED with 'cannabis induced psychosis' received a diagnosis of schizophrenia within 3 years Important that appropriate follow-up is provided in such presentations, given this high risk 1/2

Fentanyl does more than kill. It's harder to outreach to people who use it, harder to stabilize because it's stronger, harder to kick, and harder to recover from. We must change our approach to include interventions beyond overdose reversal to stop this calamity.
