@TheCartoonBase
Writing off Regular Show would be a huge mistake, it is one of CN’s most beloved and popular shows, it had multiple home media releases and merchandise. Seeing the series have the same fate as Megas XLR and Sym-Bionic Titan would be incredibly shocking.
@RiseFallNickBck
Here are other Disney TVA shows not on Disney+ yet either:
-Teamo Supremo
-Fillmore!
-House of Mouse
-Brandy and Mr.Whiskers
-Nightmare Ned
-Lloyd in Space
-Mickey Mouse Works
-Raw Toonage
-Aladdin: The Series
-Penn Zero: Part Time Hero
-The Weekenders
Here’s what would I do if I were the CEO of Nickelodeon:
-Give better treatment to animated shows not as beloved as SpongeBob or Loud House
-stop dumping animated shows onto Nicktoons
-greenlit original ideas more often
For those of you who aren’t aware, Cartoon Network’s upcoming series, Unicorn: Warriors Eternal, will be shown at the Annecy Animation film Festival 2022 from June 13th to June 18th of this year. We finally got more details on the series after such a long time.
Milestones of 2023:
-Disney: 100 years old
-Warner Bros.: 100 years old
-Mickey Mouse: 95 years old
-Wacky Races: 55 years old
-Garfield: 45 years old
-Inspector Gadget: 40 years old
-Garfield and Friends: 35 years old
-Who Framed Roger Rabbit?: 35 years old
Friendly reminder that tomorrow is Thursday and it is Nickelodeon’s latest upfront. In this upfront, we will see announcements for upcoming shows and movies from Nickelodeon themselves.
@DynamoSuperX
I don’t blame Benson for this, I actually blame Mordecai and Rigby for this because their slacking off causes Benson to have anger issues.
@HannaBarberaCap
Robot Jones from Whatever Happened to… Robot Jones? makes an appearance in this tribute video. I’m surprised they officially acknowledged his existence.
@CN_Moments
This rejected sequel should be revived by Hanna Barbera Studios Europe, considering they are bringing back Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. They should also revive Billy and Mandy: Destroy Us All- A Cosmic Horror Musical, another rejected comeback.
@HannaBarberaCap
Crossovers originally planned but never got to see the light of day:
-Summer of Garnet
-Untitled Space Ghost Coast to Coast episode
-Crossover Nexus 2
-Proposed Mega Man crossover
I got them from the OK K.O.! wiki.
Here’s a meme: A sign saying that WBD needs stop mistreating their animated franchises but WBD itself can’t read the sign so they can’t stop screwing over cartoons.
@NSwitchOwner
Here are other NickToons that Nickelodeon screwed over:
-Catscratch
-The X’s
-The Mighty B!
-Making Fiends
-Welcome to the Wayne
-T.U.F.F. Puppy
-Rise of the TMNT
-It’s Pony
@DynamoSuperX
Not to mention, Cartoon Network no longer mentions the 2016 reboot of PPG anymore, they stopped mentioning it on social media as well as their official YouTube channel.
@HannaBarberaCap
I’m so glad this was fake because Ed, Edd n Eddy does NOT need a reboot at all, because Big Picture Show ended the series on such a beautiful note.
Milestones of 2024:
-Batman: 85 years old
-Quick Draw McGraw: 65 years old
-Peter Potamus: 60 years old
-Scooby Doo: 55 years old
-Sesame Street: 55 years old
-Hong Kong Phooey: 50 years old
-Nickelodeon: 45 years old
@RebelTaxi
It’s very neat that Cartoon Network still makes games outside of the US because it shows that the international versions are very different from the original USA one.
@HannaBarberaCap
HBO Max LA also has:
-I Am Weasel
-Mike, Lu and Og
-Sheep in the Big City
-Juniper Lee
-Camp Lazlo
-My Gym Partner’s a Monkey
-Squirrel Boy
-The Secret Saturdays
-Generator Rex
In recent events of WBD, as well as the upcoming streaming service, Max. Here’s a meme comic I made showing how much of a loser and how creatively bankrupt Warner Bros. has been since last year.
Here’s a concept: Imagine if Cartoon Network made more complete series DVD sets of their other shows on their 30th anniversary and not just ones for Ed, Edd n Eddy and Foster’s. That would have made the anniversary itself more good.
@WardenDean
Exactly, CN doesn’t acknowledge a lot of their old eras, promos, or programming blocks such as Cartoon Planet, Yes! era, and Har Har Tharsdays. That’s why OK KO ended up having a crossover like that.
Happy 15th anniversary to Cartoon Network’s Camp Lazlo! Which premiered on July 8th, 2005 and ended on March 27th, 2008 with 5 seasons and 61 episodes.
It’s going to be three years since Unicorn was announced and still no trailer or release date.
The Cartoon Cartoons program still hasn’t gotten any details aside from the trademarks.
The Gumball movie is still in development two years later.
@ianjq
I know this has nothing to do with this but I made a concept of all the Cartoon Network heroes that weren’t summoned and defeated by Strike in Crossover Nexus
Here’s what would I do if I were the CEO of Cartoon Network:
-bring back the 22 minute format
-greenlit pilots into full shows more often
-acknowledge old stuff that aren’t old shows like programming blocks and eras
-Allow shows that don’t have child entry points
@consumeroftoons
I’m surprised Phineas and Ferb had already been a thing before it debuted in the late 2000’s. I wonder how the series would have looked like if it debuted on television in the 1990’s.
@GuyDecidue51287
Here are a few more:
-Time Squad
-Robot Jones
-Sheep in the Big City
-Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi
-Megas XLR
-SquirrelBoy
-Class of 3000
-Evil Con Carne
-Secret Saturdays
-Robotomy
-Mighty Magiswords
-Long Live the Royals
-Elliott from Earth
Today’s meme: animation community requesting for CN to release the entirety of some of their shows on DVD in the US while CN themselves says no to the idea.
I was watching The Simpsons on Disney+ and suddenly it came a familiar voice: THE VOICE OF GEORGE CARLIN, U.S. NARRATOR OF SEASONS 1-4 OF THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE!!!!
@ToonHive
That’s because of how CN cancelled the series due to it not acquiring a toy license, and then writing it off. Showing how much they view it as a total failure.
@RiseFallNickBck
I may like Foster’s, but some episodes have aged poorly like:
-Everyone Knows it’s Bendy
-I Only Have a Surprise for You
-Bye Bye Nerdy
For those of you who don’t know, the complete series of both The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack and Camp Lazlo are already on iTunes and no one, not even myself was aware of it.
@CCNCartoonNews
If he wants to revive the script, he should pitch it to Hanna Barbera Studios Europe, considering they are rebooting PowerPuff Girls and Foster’s.
And as for Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake, only one image of the day of its announcement and that’s it.
CN will keep lacking new content if they don’t release them sooner. Well, as for the Gumball movie, I think it’s gonna take a very long time to release.
@AidenRS139
Here’s what games I think should be on Switch:
-Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon
-Pikmin (2001)
-Super Smash Bros. Melee
-Luigi’s Mansion (2001)
-Super Mario 3D Land
-Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
-Metroid Prime (2002)
@NSwitchOwner
Ended shows not featured:
-Cow and Chicken
-Avatar: The Last Airbender
-Phineas and Ferb
-Courage the Cowardly Dog
-Flapjack
-Aqua Teen Hunger Force
-King of the Hill
-Beavis and Butt-Head
-Daria
-Drawn Together
Considering drama is happening at WBD again because of Zaslav, I decided to bring this meme comic up again (a.k.a. re-post it). And this has aged incredibly well, if you know what I mean.
@RiseFallNickBck
Such a heartwarming finale for a Cartoon Network show that deserved better. But still, I wish we got the show’s unproduced episodes that were originally planned.
This is something I have been thinking about for a while, but here it is: I find it surreal that Nickelodeon is the only one out of the big three that sees lots of value on DVDS in the US while CN and Disney only care for streaming and digital purchases.
According to Variety: The top three kids Networks decline in TV ratings from 2016 to 2021 has been substancial.
- Disney Channel: -82.3% (1.08 million)
- Nickelodeon -74.5% (978K)
- Cartoon Network -79.3% (768K)
Kinda crazy when you see just how much.
@toonsgowild
Definitely Camp Lazlo, it ended with Scoutmaster Lumpus turning out to be an imposter instead of the REAL scoutmaster of Camp Kidney. It literally ends the entire show on a sour note.
@FavDockOfShame
For doing these decisions:
-rejecting Galactic: Kids Next Door
-cancelling Sym-Bionic Titan
-producing live action stuff
-rejecting Billy and Mandy: Destroy Us All- A Cosmic Horror Musical
-refusing to air Season 2 of Mao Mao
-cancelling Book 5 of Infinity Train
@TheCartoonBase
Fun fact: OK KO was originally going to have a crossover with Mega Man, but was scrapped along with the other unproduced episodes of the shows.
@TomHamill2
There are some Cartoon Network shows that didn’t ended on a high note unlike Ed, Edd n Eddy, Kids Next Door, and Regular Show:
-Dexter’s Lab
-Johnny Bravo
-Cow and Chicken
-Billy and Mandy
-Camp Lazlo
I wish for HBO Max to add both Billy and Mandy movies (Big Boogey Adventure and Underfist) to their service. Same goes to the Christmas episode, Billy and Mandy Save Christmas.
@DynamoSuperX
Nickelodeon has more current ongoing shows than CN:
-SpongeBob
-Loud House
-Rugrats (2021)
-Middlemost Post
-Patrick Star Show
-Kamp Koral
-Star Trek: Prodigy
and some live action shows
