LATEST: Eileen O’Neill Burke held onto her lead Tuesday, as 406 more votes were tallied by city officials. Those votes were split almost evenly between the candidates, with Clayton Harris III picking up just two more votes to close the margin between the two to just 1,598 votes.

@irvineghost20 Cook County Clerk said in a release "approximately 800 mail ballots" were tallied today. But that's both Republican & Democratic ballots. 627 is the number of Democratic votes added in the state's attorney race today.
