Big loss for the Windom community today with the passing of Joe Carpenter at age 97. Joe was a fixture at Eagle sporting events up until last year. I often joked that I wouldn't hold his love of the Iowa Hawkeyes against him.

You don't get much hotter at the plate than @WindomSoftball freshman @HuskaKaitlee was this past week. Huska went 14-of-17 at the plate with two HR, 4 2B and a 3B. She also scored 10 runs. Eagles went 4-1 in those five games.

I'm going to throw this out there so people can make a comparison. The MSHSL website is 100% useless. No schedules, no rosters, no information. This is the SDHSAA website. Within a couple of seconds, I can find a roster, schedule and results for any team.
