Never apologize for...
1) missing a stream
2) having to lurk
3) not being able to sub, etc
4) not showing up for awhile
5) forgetting to follow
Seriously just thanks for even considering to hang out. ๐ฅฐ

Don't go into other streams

most people don't realize lurkers are easily the majority viewer on twitch
SO PLEASE KEEP ON LURKING AS MUCH AS YOU NEED TO IF IT MAKES YOU COMFORTABLE!!!
thank you so much ๐ฅบ
fall guys twitter be like
monday: buy this
tuesday: 50% levels removed
wednesday: its wednesday my beans
thursday: buy that
friday: 50% levels removed
saturday: buy this
sunday: don't forget to buy this and that
You grow more from what you do off-stream, then when you actually stream.
Twitch is not a platform of growth and doesn't have any built-in discoverability. Take advantage of all the media platforms you can.
Create a presence.
viewer: got 78 followers now...
me: congrats
viewer: can you get me more followers!?
me: what??
literally how my stream started today, confused about how many people literally only go to hang with others JUST to gain something.
Please don't be this person.
PLEASE DO NOT FOLLOW ME IF YOUR ONLY INTENTION IS TO GAIN A FOLLOW BACK!!!
NEVER MY PLAN TO PLEASE EVERYONE SO IF YOU DONT LIKE MY CONTENT THAT IS OKAY WITH ME!!!
TRY TO ACTUALLY INTERACT WITH PEOPLE MAYBE YOU WILL MAKE SOME COOL CONNECTIONS!!!
THANK YOU!!!
WHAT IS UP WITH THIS ENTITLEMENT PEOPLE HAVE TOWARDS LURKERS???
IF THEY DONT TALK THEY HAVE AN ATTITUDE OR SOMETHING???
STOP BEING SO ENTITLED AND APPRECIATE THE FACT ANYONE CAME TO SEE YOU!!!
MAYBE THEY ARE STRUGGLING AND YOUR STREAM IS REALLY HELPING THEM???
don't make lurkers feel bad...
been in a few channels where once stating I'm gonna lurk, the streamer tries to guilt-trip you for not chatting more...
like wtf?
be grateful that someone cared enough to drop by
Avoid "small streamer" hashtags.
This is a literal mental trap. Some people will go this route because it may get them some easy retweets, but 90% of these people are in the F4F culture. Same thing with streamer support RT pages.
If you ask me
@FallGuysGame
has unlimited potential but we need some changes...
- remove sbmm and add ranked
- public betas
- level editor
- open comms / transparency
- fix 7,8 round games
- leaderboards
- keep solo show full variety
- celeb previews
will you please listen to the community
@FallGuysGame
update us on anything at all
- why do we have limited round pools
- when will things be fixed
- why are no new rounds in any LTMS
- why not use newsfeed for content updates
- why do you only tweet about cosmetics u sell
Tips for viewers!!!
1) Don't ask why chat is slow/dead.
2) Don't self promote/promote other streamers
3) Don't announce the viewer count. (many disable it)
4) Don't announce you are going to watch "X" streamer.
5) Don't ask streamers who to raid, unless asked.
anything else?
literally shocked right now my friend raided another streamer and this person straight up blamed my friend for a RANDOM killing them in fall guys
actually banned everyone from the raid and just yelled at all of us -- literal bully
I'm shook wtf
Apparently, some people need to hear this...
YOU CAN THROW AS MUCH MONEY AS YOU WANT TO SOMEONE ON TWITCH OR WHATEVER AND THEY STILL DONT OWE YOU ANYTHING!!!
Can we normalize hanging out with streamers for content?
I see so many people ONLY hanging in streams with the expectation of them returning the favor. This is not a healthy narrative for ANYONE.
Do people have notepads and keep track of this?
huge shout out and love to
@CouRageJD
for giving me and many others in the
@FallGuysGame
community a chance and also for hosting cool events and most importantly speaking up against big team games in squads ๐โค๏ธ
MUCH LOVE!!!
honestly believe
@FallGuysGame
has infinite potential but here is a few things that need to be done IMO
- remove sbmm or add casual/ranked shows
- remove big team games from squads/duos
- squad bug fix
- always have solo show with all maps
- celebration preview
- level editor
so many seem to think lurkers are not watching you, and just left you on while working...
while this is true SOME of the time, OFTEN people are just enjoying watching your content, and may not want to or feel comfortable actively chatting!!!
LET THEM LURK!!!
FEELS BAD TO HAVE A POST WITH ZERO LIKES ANYONE THAT DROPS ONE ON THIS POST WILL DO MY BEST TO GO BACK AND RETURN THE LOVE!!!
THE SMALLEST ACT CAN BE LIFE CHANGING!!!
Tips for streamers!
1) Viewers are people, not just a number.
2) Avoid calling out lurkers.
3) Remember to introduce yourself.
4) Reminding people to follow is fine, but don't force it.
5) Don't be afraid to play variety/stick to a game
Any others tips we can add?
Never worry about lurking in my stream!!!
As a natural introvert and some with anxiety as well, I often just like to relax while I play guitar, and watch some of my favorite streamers.
Always be comfortable to lurk!!!
Never feel like you HAVE to talk.
Please!
Do not follow me, hoping only to get a follow-back. This type of growth is not good for anyone! I want engagement, I love to talk and meet new people!!
Talk to me! I am always open to talking to anyone and making new connections! ๐ฅฐ
If you are playing random duos in
@FallGuysGame
or any game and you have a teammate who is underperforming for any reason
it is NEVER okay to make fun of them, call them trash, etc
they may be new to the community or just having an off day
do better
Okay, something I noticed... ๐ค
Whenever I'm in a female streamer's chat I see a lot of guys saying things like "hey love" "Hey darling". And always comments on looks.
Know one ever enters my chat with "Hey darling", can't we'll just be gamers?
Whenever someone unfollows me, it is always someone that has never spoken to me once or even liked a single comment.
Why follow me in the first place? ๐ฅบ๐๐
I will always talk to anyone.
@VisualFidelity
@MrReckless94
they would have to literally make the game twice, its a turn-based RPG it's the entire genre
its like asking COD to have a turn-based RPG mode lmao
Some people take self-promotion too seriously, meaning they ONLY talk about twitch, when really you should be sharing YOUR personality and who YOU are.
Heard about discords that kick people if even inactive for a week due to IRL stuff going on, and streamers DEMANDING people not to stream when they do...
we all have very different lives, if someone is absent doesn't mean they don't care...
stop trying to use others!!!
Down to be friends with ANYONE.
Just being who you are will ALWAYS be enough for me. Don't think you have to look or act any certain way to be my friend.
My doors are always OPEN, as long as you come with real intentions.
โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
streaming will always have ups and downs
increase/decrease in viewership
dead/busy chat
bad/good game days
stream crashes
muted mics
low/high energy
don't worry it is all normal and part of the process!!!
take a breather and remember you are doing what you love!!!
I have never...
1) asked anyone for a raid
2) asked someone to lurk for me
3) been upset with someone for not showing up
4) expect to be raided
5) expect to lurk/hang because I did
any other additions to this list?
General tips for streamers.
1) Talk as much as possible to avoid dead air.
2) Consider disabling live view counts.
3) Do not call out lurkers, or people on the user list.
4) Do not have too many mods. (varies)
5) Do not say you are "live" in another stream.
So many streamers come into other channels only to talk about themselves, or to announce "they are live".
Do people really lack awareness as to why this is bad?
Find people that you vibe with, try to make connections, don't use people as a billboard.
๐ดANNOUNCEMENT TIME๐ด
We are proud to announce our first official sponsor and super excited that it will be with
@GFuelEnergy
If you want to try GFUEL and support the stream use code "CIMARUS" at the G-Fuel shop or click this link for a 10% discount -
would love to see the
@FallGuysGame
developers just come out and talk about the state of the game, their thoughts on where they want the game to be and maybe a potential roadmap
this would help address the concerns the community has and would be nice to see their thoughts
Please. Do not tag people in going live posts.
I literally do my best to support people, but I am not some kind of a robot that can be in EVERY new streamers channel ALL the time.
I am a human being, I can only do so much.
If you come to my channel ONLY for me to come to yours you are going to be disappointed...
don't get down like that...
much rather build genuine connections!!!
Advice for streamers!
1) Don't be afraid to try new platforms.
2) Don't let slow days get you down
3) Take notes of good ideas
4) Don't be afraid to reach out to other streamers!
5) Take breaks when needed, don't overdo it!
so we were turned down for twitch partner
but that's okay - we have hit so many amazing milestones recently and just having the chance to apply was a huge step!
they said channel is healthy and try again in a few weeks!
