New Mexico played 5 games in 10 days vs 3 q1 opponents, traveling abq, Vegas, Vegas abq, abq to Memphis etc. Clemson had 9 days off and traveled 8 hours.

Arizona has changed a lot politically. They voted for recreational marijuana. It's a lot more blue than in the past. It wasn't surprising. Hell, he called John McCain a bunch of awful things. What did he expect.
Committee had said the mountain west needed to win every game by 25, play blindfold, turnaround 3x before shooting, fix world hunger, and bring democracy to Cuba to be in the tournament as a low seed.

Ultimately, we need people getting degrees in different things, from doctors to scientists, to auto mechanics, etc. Without specialized professionals, we as a country will never keep up. We also need an educated population with the tools to be successful. Improving access.

John McCain was and remains a hero. That's really low to attack a guy who was a pow. I'm liberal and i did not agree with his views all the time, but it's extremely wrong to attack a guy who had morals and integrity. Don't forget he defended his political opponent from racism.
I'm sad my WR 571 class ended, I learned such an amazing amount of water knowledge on the middle rio grande and Colorado river. I definitely intend to stay in water academia, no other place I'd rather be.

It's amazing to watch in an unbelievable kind of way tbh. With a 95 percent conviction rate in federal courts, he's dropping the hammer on himself.

Plus you're dealing with the channeling of sound waves that allows sound to travel thousands of miles without the signal losing considerable energy. It's possible they picked it up but did not know where it exactly came from.

That's what happens when you have a guy who doesn't follow legal advice that doesn't fit his narrative or agenda. You get junk legal services in the end.
Dear New Mexico, it's been an unbelievable 2 years here, and it's bitter, sweet leaving, but I'm ever so grateful for you. As I move on to teaching and doing research at SDSU, I'll always remember the times we had, you made me. I love you.
Now that we've had time to digest a terrible loss, it's important to continue supporting the team and our NCAA tournament hopes. The week off should be plenty of time to prepare us for boise state and be ready.
It's been a wild year! However, I am overly excited to announce that I am accepting a grad school offer at SDSU in geography (watershed science) for Fall 23!
Nothing like a 4.0 semester while taking remote sensing, python, honors, and a graduate level water resources course to end the year! What a 2022, 4 conference presentations, finished research project, and a real possibility I graduate summa cum laude. Time to fly home and rest.

I always remind myself that the work I'm doing is for everyone, not just me or personal gain. What good is my work if I'm not being a good person.

Look, UNM plays run and gun basketball and had a 12 point lead at home. This isn't the first time that they've blown double-digit leads.

No real need to consider attending or working at universities in Florida anymore. Why attend or work there when you are assured that your big value research funds are non-existent.
@RyanMarino
You know what I never understood? What's wrong with being wrong? How can you learn if you're always correct? People will die on information that's absolutely incorrect instead of just accept they are wrong.
probably the worst I've ever done academically these past two semesters, not because grad school is too difficult but because of severe chronic post-traumatic stress disorder. I should be able to manage it and hopefully find another program elsewhere.
As of March 20th, I will no longer be enrolled or working at SDSU. As you probably know, I've been suffering heavily from chronic post-traumatic stress disorder, and it has made things impossible. I look forward to New adventures.
@TheStrugglingS4
Idk, I'm not a fan of the term expert. I feel like there's so much to learn and know. Expert implies mastery, but can a subject be mastered when it constantly evolves?
New Mexico will always have a place in my heart ❤️ I'm unbelievably appreciative of the opportunities that I had, and even though I'm leaving, I'll always be with you.
I'll return to academia after a year off. I'm a hell of a researcher and educator, but as someone who does struggle with mental health, mainly chronic ptsd, I need a department that is supportive, and the fit is well. So I'm looking into new programs.

I'm definitely not voting for Pence based on policy issues, but he protected the country in time of need, and people should remember that. It's not about what party you belong to, it's about doing the right thing for our country.
