Starting to look into records related to St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner's statements.
She claimed her office opposed continued GPS monitoring for Daniel Riley.
Not so according to transcript from August hearing (Phipps is last name of her prosecutor on the case):
SLMPD officers who were gathered at a nearby district substation for the funeral of a fellow officer who died of suicide last week rushed to the school today to respond to the shooting.
The I-Team wanted to know how often St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner's Office files motions to revoke someone's bond.
She did not file any motions to revoke Daniel Riley's bond after he violated it more than 90 times before causing the crash that injured Janae Edmondson.
Grand jurors who indicted one of St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner's investigators three years ago have written a letter saying she should be indicted, too, instead of being given a reprimand for her actions during Greitens case. Story TK

Nothing in CAO Kim Gardner's statement addresses why her office said a robbery victim was dead when he wasn’t.
And nothing in the statement answers why it happened again less than 24 hours ago letting a SECOND armed robbery suspect walk free.

Court records show St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly Gardner was officially served today at 12:15 p.m. with the Missouri Attorney General's quo warranto petition seeking to remove her from office.
Now, the clock starts ticking on all of the motions AG Andrew Bailey has made.
3 men were accused of robbing a man in 2020.
One just cost a teenager her legs in a crash after Gardner’s office told me 2022 trial fell through bc victim died.
He’s alive.
A 2nd suspect is a free man bc prosecutors still thought victim was dead Tuesday.

Another St. Louis judge has given three days to St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner to appear before him to show why she should not be held in contempt on another trial her assistant prosecutor did not show up for due to an unverified medical reason.

Hello, we are reporting the murder of a human being and talk to those who knew her. This is what newspapers do. It would be irresponsible and disrespectful to write about a victim without trying to reach those who knew and loved her.

Here’s my question, how is it possible that a prosecutor who has just resigned can appoint another prosecutor to handle the office? That negates the law, which requires the governor to appoint the replacement. Hoping to get more clarification soon.
Gov. Parson: “If you've got body cam footage I don't know why you wouldn't release it."
“with body cam footage in the old days, it will help you as much as it will ever hurt you."
“Be transparent and get it over with.”

I have now confirmed the Assistant Circuit Attorney of record on this case had his wife present in the courtroom for this hearing. She is the Chief Misdemeanor Officer for the Circuit Attorney's Office. Still no explanation as to why the attorney of record was not present.
I’m told the officer who has the head injury is married with several children. The situation is critical, but we’ve seen two officers with life-threatening injuries pull through before.
