If anything, the strike by CPC trade unions are helping the cause of privatisation not the other way around. When Ceypetco sheds are closed and people can get fuel from the IOC only, the government has a better chance to convince the public on the importance of privatisation.

Just got the electricity bill after 4 weeks of cooking entirely with the rice cooker. The bill got just 500 LKR more from the last month. At this rate, we might never go back to the gas cooker, at least until we have a proper LPG supply. I totally understand that 500/month.
