A quick story about family and football... In Tonganoxie last night, they opened the gates to a 7:00 game at 4. But fans snuck in early to set blankets saving seats as early as 9am. I met the man who said he was there saving a seat at 9am. Grandparents to a Tongie senior... 🧵

Before the NKC/OP Girl's game today, they have an 8th grade girl's basketball game in the gym. I LOVE doing these games because I'll give them the full experience. Walk-out music. Intros of all the players. It's one of my most enjoyable games all year. Make the kids feel cool!!

Heard from the Presko family that former @Cardinals and @tigers pitcher as well as @NKCBaseball alum Joe Presko has passed away. He was inducted into Northtowns's HOF just this fall. Rest in Peace @NorthtownNews
