Don't wait to travel.

I'm lucky.

Make it a priority to see the world.
I used to be the skinniest kid in school.
I was a late developer and hated it.
It lead to me wishing I was bigger.
So I ate lot to gain weight.
It finally caught up to me.
So I fixed it with healthy habits.
No at 40, I'm the best shape of my life.
I know that I can accomplish anything that I set my mind to.

If you are reading this tweet, you are well on your way.

Low motivation.
Played uno, hiked, meal prepped, and watched Footy.
I needed an R&R day.
Don’t be hard on yourself when you need one.
Tonight, stargazing.
There is inherent beauty being out of your comfort zone.
Knowing that you’re in uncharted waters.
Believing in yourself.
Digging deep.
And just going for it.
This likely doesn't apply to you because I'm in your feed.
But, if you're coasting through life, STOP.
Think deeply about life.
Create a vision.
Start a self development journey.
Learn new skills & build goals to that vision.

For me, it’s by having a Mission & setting Goals
Mission: to be the best version of myself
Goal: to live & work from where I want when I want
Here’s a recap of my 3 biggest wins & happiest moment of this week
A thread 🧵
I’ve hit a wall over the past two weeks.
Yet I’m still posting 3x a day.
But my engagement is low.
To those who still engage with me, even when I’m not returning it as much as I should…
I APPRECIATE YOU!
I've read many books over the last few years.
But never truly actioned any of them.
That's changing this quarter.
I've set a goal to action the following:
• The Millionaire Messenger
• Atomic Habits
• $100M Offers
Looking forward to sharing the before and after results.
A big mistake I made was wasting my privilege.
• White
• Loving family
• Upper Middle Class
• Raised in Australia & the US
• College Education paid by parents
I woke up at 34 with nothing.
Don't coast through life like I did.
Create a vision, a purpose, and go get it.
People ask me why I got into coaching
I do it because I want to
1) Transform the lives of people to become better versions of themselves
2) Work from where I want, when I want
Right now I’m driving around Australia doing both!
Why are you doing what you're currently doing?
Emotional Intelligence is critical.
Want to improve yours?
• Be observant
• Reflect on your emotions
• Ask for other perspectives
• Use "pauses" to stop and think before speaking
• Explore the "why" behind a person feeling differently than you
Practice these daily.
My goal this weekend was to see our first Croc in the NT.
No luck as of yet.
However, we did have another visitor on our truck last night….
Nature tracks at its finest
Do you struggle with sleep?
•Plan the following day.
•Journal your thoughts down.
•Close your eyes, focus on your breathing.
You will likely rest easier.
Do you believe in Manifestation?
One of my life goals is to drive around Australia
Each day, I write one of my goals down
A gentle reminder to myself
I searched my journal for
"around Australia"
194 results
I wrote it down 194 times
I'm now driving around Australia.
3 daily targets.
That's what you should have for every single day.
Each target should chip away at a larger specific goal.
Don't work on daily to-do lists.
Hit needle moving targets.
A 4-hour work day?
It takes repetition.
Countless reps.
Gaining experience.
Which increases skills.
That builds your confidence.
Once you have this, you can tailor a 4-hr day.
But make sure it lines up with your vision of an ideal life.
The pride I feel when I look at myself in the mirror.
Knowing that I’ve transformed my life from someone who was:
•Straying
•Coasting
•Squandering
To someone with a:
•Vision
•Mission
•Purpose
The genuine feeling of pride
I love my life.
I get to explore Australias South West beaches in the morning.
And help coach people to become a better version of themselves in the afternoon.
It’s a beautiful thing.
My dad can be difficult to talk to.
I find it hard to have "real" conversations with him.
He can be grumpy and hide his emotions.
I've learned that I can't change him.
He won't.
But that I should just continue to be me.
Love him for who he is and share my life updates.
Back in early 2019 I found out my boss was making $400k a year.
It blew my mind.
I was just starting my self development journey and it inspired me that this was my potential.
In 2022, I made over $400k.
It's because I work hard, have a growth mindset and believe in myself.
I'm a guide not a guru
I'm here to be your biggest supporter
These are two key lessons I've learned since starting to Coach.
What is the biggest lessons you've learned in your current career?
My old boss, someone who was dear to me, hurt me deeply.
When it comes into my mind, I remind myself that the one thing I can control, is my mind.
I can choose to let something bother me.
Or I can choose to let it go.
If I ever see him again, I will be me.
Positive.
Stop presenting on your discovery calls.
Instead:
• Be curious
• Ask questions
• Quantify the pain
Then organise a follow up where you can present your tailored solution to their desired outcome.
It feels great to accomplish a PR.
Whether it's deadlifts, mindfullness, money, etc.
It's because of all the hard work that's involved along the journey.
Small continual improvements added up over time will lead to PRs in every aspect of life.
So show up every single day.
For 5 years I slaved away at a company.
• 4x regional revenue leader
• Mentor & buddy for every 5th new starter
• Always worked after hours going above and beyond
My reward?
Minimum redundancy.
The door that was opened?
A year driving around Australia building a business.
